  1. Say Something is just epic
  2. Apparently it's also used in the new Netflix Christmas movie, which is very random as it's an American movie but we applaud all exposure :cheer:
  3. Not Tonight Santa is back in their Spotify top 10, getting around 20k plays a day now. It should be way bigger, as it's such a fun Christmas song, but sadly not much support on playlists so most people don't know it's even out there.
  4. Love the fact you've been going through their whole amazing back catalogue
  5. That was such a good one! Didn't she do Edge that night as well? We also have the Judas performance on Graham Norton.

Spends a second week at #1 here in The Netherlands. The actual numbers are low, but with the new restrictions and very little viewings at the moment, it makes sense.
  7. My wishes have been answered :cheer: :cheer: I am so happy with this!! But they are both headlining? Just on different dates. The Saturday slot is not a "bigger" one than the Friday slot..
  8. The second one is indeed more cringe. It feels very much like "straight rights" It all just seems so... random? I mean, good for them getting a nice cheque. And from a business perspective I get they would want to more involved with this than Spice 25, because let's face it, one day of filming will get them more money than the whole re-release. The thing is, it just seems to come out of the blue. Nothing is really going on in Spice world at the moment and then all of a sudden we get this? I'm also a bit confused by the company for hiring them. Is the Spice fanbase really their target audience?
  9. Hahaha, that was my reaction when it appeared on my timeline. It's just.. strange? Especially since we didn't know about this, but oh well, get those coins girls! They have always been very business savy (and good for them) so surely they got a nice cheque for this. I only can't with Geri's white dress. Again.

Very well deserved nomination and indeed hope she wins this! She needs to be big in the next year.
  11. GREAT idea! 01. Overload or Run For Cover (SO hard to chose between these two) 02. Stronger 03. Denial 04. About A Girl (I guess.. don't really care for any of the singles). 01. Promises 02. Whatever Makes You Happy 03. Never Gonna Dance Again 04. Wait For You
  12. It's that time again :cheer: Spotify have just released our wrapped ups for this year. How did the Sugababes do for you this year? They were my #4 artist this time around.
  13. Exactly! I do like the Xmas jumper, but no way I would pay 55 quid for it.
  14. Finallyyyy :cheer:
  15. 19 years since they were formed today! What a journey it has been
  16. I hope there is more to this than just the Blue support gig. We don't need that, Give us summer festival and a own tour
  17. I have to disagree with some of the promo comments. She was everywhere last year, which paid off as she got to #1 with very healthy sales (especially considering the sales climate, covid and her not amazing streaming power) and the record label surely got a nice return with all the expensive album and vinyl sets. The re-release was just a nice extra, selling some more copies and giving the fans a few new songs. No artist goes big in promo for a re-release. She did The One Show, Jonathan Ross, BBC2 radio interview and two videos, there's not a lot more to do at the moment. Obviously the private gigs is where the money is, she makes more money from one of those sets than the whole Disco campaign I'd imagine.

There are, showing are allowed up to 17 o'clock, which will be a struggle as most people watch movies in the evening (especially during the week), and also have to keep a distance in the cinema, so they can't sell all the tickets. The box office will crash this week, but Gucci is still being played quite a bit, compared to other movies, after it's first weekend success so it should at least keep on making more money.

Debuts at #1 at the Dutch box office, with 545.533 euro made. Which is pretty good, considering a lot of the Sunday viewings had to be cancelled due to new Covid restrictions.
  20. Woooo so excited for this! Bring on the tour.
  21. The Guardian has named I Do This All The Time as their best song of the year! Very deserved.
  22. She just announced her European tour is cancelled, due to Covid :( UK tour will still go ahead. I'm not surprised, as things are getting worse over here again, but very disappointed of course. Was looking forward to see her!
  23. The Loving Kind No Good Advice Models Love Machine Close To Love Such a strong list of songs, TLK and NGA are amongst their best singles and Models is one of their strongest album tracks.

Great first weekend result! Especially considering how adult dramas have been struggling since Covid and Ridley's last movie only made about 5 million in it's first weekend last month. Also: “Gucci” has been one of the most anticipated films of the season. Ridley Scott’s retelling of murder within the Italian fashion family gained much of its advance interest from Lady Gaga’s involvement. In only her second lead role, she seems to have proven star appeal. Reaction, both critically and initial audience response, has been all over the map. Its Saturday gross had the same relative showing to its opening day as did the enthusiastically received “Knives,” suggesting a promising future for the film.
