Great start of the season with a very strong cast! Victoria was an easy stand-out for me; fun, nice and just two fantastic looks! Would have been my clear winner. Krystal second look was indeed fantastic, but I didn't warm up to her at all and feel like she won't be a queen I would like. Other favourites were Charity (love this kind of drag, but wonder how well Ru and Michelle will take it? Can easily see the 'we need something sexy from you' comments coming in week three), Choriza (the name! iconic), Scarlett (such a sweetheart), Kitty (cracked me up) and Vanity (especially her first look was SO good). The bottom three were the right one for me, although I think Veronica deserved to be there as well. Elektric did a good lip sync, although it didn't fit the song at all. Maybe wasn't helped by her looking like a five year old, but still.

Whole Lotta History only at #20? Lies! I do like the top 5 though, if we could swap The Show for The Promise, then that would be my top 5 singles as well. And describing LM as 'one for the straights' is so true.

She did very well and my god, she looked so pretty as well. He partner isn't bad to look at either. I wonder if she didn't feel the urge to sing a long with the song though :lol: Must have been strange to dance to your own vocals.

Haha, we love to see it! I keep seeing the trailer at the cinema and every time it makes me so excited to see her on the big screen again. Bring on November!

This season has seen some unhinged choices, but this was definitely the worst. I was convinced Keta would win this, with Puny being a runner-up, and the fact that she got eliminated this soon is mindblowing. She wasn't even bad in the challenge to start with and whilst I was expecting more from the lip sync, Countess got saved a few weeks ago because of 'track record'???

It's not as instant for as some of the EP songs, but it still sounds very promising! Very dance-y indeed.

Decided to buy the cassette yesterday (and have it deliverd to my parents-in-law's UK address) to help them out. Such a tight race, I really hope they manage to come out on top.

I still don't think it's as easy as saying it's al GaGa's, '09, '10 and '11 are more than a decade ago, so much has changed since then in terms of the internet, social media and the way we watch television. It's almost impossible to compare. And of course she attracts viewers, she always delivers and we all know that but I doubt this decline has all to do with or without her performing. Sure she can be a factor, but a small one. I doubt the should would have gotten 10 million viewers now if she was there. I don't know the figures for last year, so I am glady proven wrong but I think the whole general feeling around the VMAs is just not what it used to be. Which is a shame, as it was also one of the highlights for me.

I doubt those viewing ratings have much to do with GaGa, in general the VMAs are not what they used to be and people don't watch award shows anymore. We see the same with the Oscars and other shows, why would you watch a long show when you can just watch your favourite performers on Youtube?

I agree, this whole strategy has been so so strange! Also the fact that Kylie or her team have not even announced this is happening seems very strange, I would think this would sell quite well and could make them some money if they actually made it more available.
