  1. Push for me.
  2. Welcome to round 11! :cheer: After a slightly different round in the last year, we say goodbye to the last 1.0 song- Overload. The song got a total of 86 points, making it the lowest ranking song. In the end it was pretty close as another song got 92 points. After the final round, I'll reveal the whole list as it will be interesing to see how we ranked the 7 remaining songs compared to how we will vote in the upcoming rounds. Ranking 07. Overload 08. Run For Cover 09. About You Now 10. In The Middle 11. Ugly 12. Caught In A Moment --. Denial 14. Red Dress 15. Shape 16. New Year --. Easy 18. Flatline 19. Change --. About A Girl 21. Follow Me Home 22. Soul Sound 23. Flowers 24. No Can Do 25. Angels With Dirty Faces --. Get Sexy 27. Girls 28. Wear My Kiss 29. Freedom 30. Walk This Way For this round we go back to normal, so vote off the song you like the least out of the remaining six.
  3. One of my favourite Girls Aloud songs of all time
  4. I had the same and finally started last week, it's a good read when it comes to the old stuff (especially the inside label/ music stuff), but the current stuff has already made me cry multiple times.

Britney Spears - Born to Make You Happy Girls Aloud - The Loving Kind Katy Perry - The One That Got Away Kylie Minogue - Slow Lady Gaga - I'll Never Love Again Little Mix - Love Me or Leave Me Madonna - The Power of Good-Bye P!nk - Please Don't Leave Me Rihanna - Unfaithful Spice Girls - Viva Forever Steps - It's the Way You Make Me Feel Sugababes - Stronger
  6. Yes for Girls Aloud but quite shocked to see Say Something only 11th!! That song is a modern classic.
  7. WHY would MTV even let someone like Nicki perform on the VMA? That would be such a gross statement. I am even disappointed Jesy and her label are going ahead with the release, says a lot about them as people.
  8. Absolutely a mid tempo. See The Day, Whole Lotta History and I'll Stand By You are ballads, Call The Shots is a lot "faster" than those kind of songs.
  9. I was so impressed with Silky, a queen I never cared for before, but she absolutely ate those lip syncs and I actually hope she will be to one to go back into the competition.
  10. I feel the Dutch judges take the runway a lot more serious compared to the US when it comes to the end results. Like last year, when Chelseaboy easily won the snatch game but didn't win the whole episode. Puny was EASILY the winner this week and I was shook she didn't win. Her impression was absolutely spot on, she was Marijke, and even though her runway wasn't the strongest there was no way she was only safe. I was a bit disappointed with Keta. Yes, it was funny, but where was Sophie's accent? And the thing about Sophie is that she is not only the pornstar, but also the sweet, funny and often naive girl which wasn't portrayed. Also missed her catchphrases (f***! it's a Sunday). It was certainly better than Rebecca on Canada, but I was expecting more. Tabita was also bloody fantastic and she just cracks me up with everything she says  It's a shame Love Masisi left, as I think she is very talented, but she was once again one of the weakest unfortunately. Still tjink Ivy Elise bombed more and should have been the one to leave this week.
  11. Build It Better is my favourite song of the year so far! It's just so good.
  12. Interesting release! I'm mostly curious to see the cover, which line-up will they pick?
  13. I can't believe the hate Victoria Scone is getting because a bunch of gays don't know a cis woman can do drag... This is sometimes my problem with Drag Race, as much as I love it and it has opened a lot of people to drag, it just gives a very small view of what drag is and who can be a drag queen.
  14. It is certainly an underrated album, it obviously did very well in the charts (especially considering the airplay ban Britney had at the time in the US, I still cannot believe Slave did so poorly as over here that song was absolutely massive!!), but it sold a lot less compared to her first two records (which makes sense as those were so big) and the singles underperformed compared to the big hits she had before. At the same time, I feel the album has always been loved amongst fans. I think it's her second best record, just behind ITZ, and have always seen a lot of people online who feel like that.
  15. Life Got Cold has grown on me a lot over the years, it always used to be one of my least favourites but I do like it a lot these days.
  16. I know! It's, once again, very disappointing. After S2, I am so excited for this season, and some of the queens look fantastic already, but it leaves a bitter taste in my mouth to see such a non-diverse cast again.
  17. Omg yes! I never had the chance to buy the original Fever vinyl so I am very excited for this!!

    • Britney Spears - Overprotected • Dua Lipa - Love Again • Girls Aloud - No Good Advice • Kylie Minogue - Say Something • Lady Gaga - Sine From Above (w/ Elton John) • Little Mix - Heartbreak Anthem (w/ Galantis & David Guetta) • Madonna - Music • Melanie C - When You're Gone (w/ Bryan Adams) • P!nk - U + Ur Hand • Rita Ora - R.I.P. (feat. Tinie Tempah) • Siobhan Donaghy - Medevac • Steps - One For Sorrow
  19. That's exactly why we thought it would be a good choice to do now, after our first two rounds did so well. And we have enough of smashes left if this doens't end up doing so well. Sometimes it's nice to take a risk and maybe introduce some new people to this masterpiece of a song.
  20. No Good Advice would seem the most obvious choice, although it could also be fun to take a risk this round (after they did so well in the first two rounds) and send a Nicola album track.
  21. Anymore votes? We have 25 votes so far and it's quite close; with the last three songs having 84, 87 and 88 points.
  22. I think this could work, in an ideal world, but what we still see is black people getting fired or not being allowed to go to school (mostly in the US) for wearing certain hairstyles because it's not deemed as "professional", whilst white people are being applaud when they are having the exact same hairstyle. Things like this make the discussion very hard and therefore white people should not try on certain styles to look "cool" or "edgy". It's white privilige at the core and I don't understand why someone like Jesy does not get this, especially after being challenged multiple times.

    • Britney Spears - Lonely • Dua Lipa - Cool • Girls Aloud - On The Metro • Katy Perry - Walking On Air • Kylie Minogue - Like A Drug • Lady Gaga - Alice • Little Mix - Happiness • Madonna - Sky Fits Heaven • P!nk - Long Way To Happy • Rihanna - Love the Way You Lie (Part 2) [feat. Eminem] • Spice Girls - Never Give Up On the Good Times • Sugababes - Ace Reject
  24. On The Metro would indeed be the strongest choice.
  25. 19 years already! Wow. I have very clear memories of not liking this song when it was first released  Round Round was released around the same time as AK's The Tide Is High and they seemed to be having a bit of a chart battle, I was 12 and very much an AK stan so automatically didn't like Round Round (so mature..). I obviously LOVE this song though.
