MIGHTLY HOOPLA
The band was so good, wasn't it? Like you said, it really gives the performance an extra energy and made it even more of a special moment. Their voices were indeed sublime  I was also impressed by the amount of choreo and movement they had going on.

I can't stop playing it again. It still is such a bop and sounds as fresh as when it just got released. Good to see there's some streaming interest.

MIGHTLY HOOPLA
New Year would have never worked at Hoopla. I love the song, but I don't think anyone was expecting that and I think it would have been song a strange part of the setlist. You already noticed with Caught In A Moment that some people around me lost their interest. 5 OG Siobhan songs in the setlist worked well and was maybe even more than I thought would happen. If they do their own tour, I would love to hear more One Touch material but a summer headline slot at a festival asks for something different so they always have do to the big hits which are basically all without Siobhan.

How should they capitalise on Mighty Hoopla?
A tour and new album has to be happen. It would just be too strange to do a string of summer shows and then nothing again. I mean, it's them so it could always happen, but having my fingers crossed.

Steps • General Discussion
That was such a fun performance; great use of a short version of the megamix! Living for the gay who was doing the One For Sorrow dance routine, the rest of the crowd was definitely full of locals though.
-
MIGHTLY HOOPLA
Absolutely! I was happy they only did the short version, seems like a good compromise, because judging by the crowd's reaction most people definitely wanted to hear AYN.

Flatline
Same! Very happy with that.

MIGHTLY HOOPLA
It was SO SO SO good. The whole festival was a blast, but seeing them was certainly the highlight. I was shook they did Today, was not expecting that to happen! The vocals were on point, as to be expected with them, their band was fab and they looked so stunning. It really felt like such a return and I hope this is only the start of much more for us. It has taken me 22 years but now I can finally say I have seen them live.

Steps - 25th Anniversary Summer Tour 2022
I was at Hoopla yesterday, my first time seeing Steps, and I had the absolute best time!!! The setlist actually worked for me, I would have LOVED to hear but was not expecting it to happen so was okay with that. Their energy and stage presence was so on point, the crowd went WILDDDDD during 5 6 7 8, which was lovely to see and experience and I danced so much myself. Very very happy to finally have been able to see them live.
-
MIGHTLY HOOPLA
No way! Ah I'm so sorry to hear that  Hope everything is alright with you and fingers crossed for a tour after this.

Now That's What I Call Music! Thread [Part 6]
No Britney? No Janet? No Sugababes? But we do get George Ezra?  I mean, generally speaking the tracklist is good and you are never going to please everyone but not including Britney on a Pride album is most certainly a choice.

Sugababes to support Westlife on 8th and 9th July in Dublin
Indeed. Obviously they are miles and miles and miles ahead when it comes to quality, but it's an amazing platform for them to re-introduce themselves to a whole bunch of locals who probably remember them from back in the day but have no idea they are back.

Scheduled appearances
Their first Pride event announced as well! Margate Pride on 13th of August!

Busy indeed! And I think this will be in a stadium, right?

One Touch - 20th Anniversary Re-Issue
I did vote for Emma versus Geri though  Legends only.

One Touch - 20th Anniversary Re-Issue
    Sounds like my kind of guy to be honest! But yeah, the official charts is hardly the most important source these days. Because let's face it, barely anyone knew this was going to be released and it's not like most people would care either, except for a few gays on the internet. Still a shame though as it would have been a good addition to the collection but it makes sense with the [production delays on vinyls these days.

Rina Sawayama - Hold The Girl
It's such a bop! Love the Shania-esque intro, the Britney reference and "that's hot"; very late-90's/Y2K which suits Rina so well. The album cover is also a total serve.
