Woop woop! They are indeed starting to get quite busy. it's such a good way to show the general public they are around again.

Girls Aloud • General Discussion
It makes total sense they don't have anything planned, as Sarah's loss is still so new and raw and I think it wouldn't feel right for them to do. I still hope the record label does something, like a vinyl release or putting everything on streaming services and that doesn't need any active involvment from the girls.

Foxes - The Kick
Definitely an early contender for album of the year! Bop after bop after bop, she really delivered. Such a shame everything seems to be going so unnoticed for her.
-
Adele - 30
But she was so funny, wasn't she? At least telling from the videos I saw popping up. I think Adele has always been very vocal of her support for the lgbt community so I think she definitely has a place there and everybody seemed to love her being there.

Kate Nash - 9 Sad Symphonies
Oh I completely missed these new songs, need to check them out! Always enjoy some Kate.

Standon Calling festival
Another one booked; York Racecourse on July 23!

Adele - 30
Why would she use her own money to pay fans back? That makes no sense at all and no-one has ever done that before. This whole Adele-hate thing that has been going on recently is getting very tiring, so many artists had to cancel shows and it can take a long long time before refunds are paid. What do you expect? Adele herself sitting behind her computer taking care of refunds.

When will "Hold My Hand" be released?
That's kind of what I'm feeling as well

Lego BrickHeadz - Spice Girls Tribute
It's very cute and not even THAT expensive either.

Favourite 3rd single from each album
Pretty strong line-up (no pun intended) but has to be Stronger for me.

House of Gucci - awards
Oh please.. No one boycotted her, there were just five women who got more votes. That's all. I do indeed wonder if she will attend. Usually actors who didn't get a nomination and who star in the movie that didn't get a lot of nominations either skip, but who knows. Would love to see her serve a wild Oscars look.

House of Gucci - awards
Spencer had similar reviews to HoG, where Kristen was mostly called the stand-out but the film in general didn't generate that many good reviews (which surprised me, as I think it's very good). Neither did the Ricardos indeed.

House of Gucci - awards
Hm, I am not too sure about that. Both Spencer and Tammy Faye got similar (or worse) reviews than HoG and a lot less box office success, yet both Chastain and Stewart are in. And whilst HoG didn't get glowing reviews, everyone pointed out she was the highlight and star. I think it was quite a hard and competitive year in general and I am sure GaGa was number 6 on the list, just behind the five that did get in. Nothing to be ashamed about and she still gave us a wonderful performance.

House of Gucci - awards
I am SHOCKED, was just watching the livestream and very surprised. At the same time, and I am saying this as a huge fan who has loved her ever since Just Dance, I am not too upset. Not just because of the fact that the five nominated women are all excellent and deserving of the nomination, but mostly because for me the whole promo campaign has been one big cringe moment. It was all way too much, the strange stories, getting more and more over the top whilst that's not what campaiging or acting should be about. I am only saying this out of love for GaGa, so please don't all jump on me, but the last few weeks have very tiring.

Beg for You (feat. Rina Sawayama)
Debuts at #29 this week! Rina's first single to officially chart.

Standon Calling festival
Indeed! I think this is now their fourth summer booking? Which is very nice and always a good way to show the world they are back out there again, especially for the people who don't follow the music forums or Twitter.

House of Gucci
Same over here! They opened again last week and HoG is back in the top 10 box office :cheer: My friend went to a screening on Saturday and he said it was sold out (as in, we have to keep a 1,5m distance so not fully sold out but all the tickets they could sell were gone).

UK Versus The World // Episode 1
Oh absolutely, I wouldn't put any blame on Lemon for the way (part of) the fanbase reacts, I am sure she is not liking this at all and has been very outspoken about it today. Jan on the other hand... She has to be the most delusional queen that has ever been on the show and has white privilige written all over her so I am sure she doesn't even want to understand anything about racism.
-
UK Versus The World // Episode 1
What has Jan been saying? I honestly don't understand the uproar, maybe I just have a different taste but why do fans like Lemon's performance so much? She was giving zero energy and face, like she didn't even want to be there and her runway was pretty but definitely not as good as Monique's or Pangina's for example. The fact that the shitty fanbase is jumping on Pangina is just disgusting but it really shows how racism is normal within the Drag Race fanbase and queer community.

Melanie C • General Discussion
She was so good on Drag Race! You could see she was having the time of her live and actually gave some good critism as well. Was living for the Spice shade she was throwing.

UK Versus The World // Episode 1
Lemon was easily the worst in the challenge, no energy at all and very predictable. Deserved to go home, as I also don't think she has much more to offer. Janey wasn't much better either, so deserving bottom two. Monique's runway was fantastic, but her behaviour was getting on my nerves. Shade is nice, bitchiness isn't. VERY glad to see Pangina winning though, she served and it definitely my favourite so far. Mel was brilliant as a judge as well, loved the Spice shade.

Sugababes social media updates
I wonder what she's up to

Beg for You (feat. Rina Sawayama)
But isn't that the whole idea behind this Charli era? She is clearly taking the piss and "playing the game". She has already said so multiple times.

Mel B - 'Hot'
But that's just an opinion, isn't it? I think generally speaking, people would say Mel C and Geri had the strongest singles run and their chart success proves it. NBTSA and ITTY were both brilliant songs (in my opinion..) and proved to be very strong single choices as both were massive. Geri made some very smart choices to release songs that were the closest to the Spice experience and give the public what they were expecting / waiting for.
