  1. Can’t believe that Believer made the final - would’ve given it negative points if I could
  2. Think PUSH 2 START is next on the chopping block and then BACKBONE
  3. In fairness, Stick Season and Espresso are of the strongest totals ever: #1 Shape of You [Combined] (2017) - 149.0m #2 Stick Season (2024) - 141.6m #- Shape of You [Solo] (2017) - 133.5m #3 Espresso (2024) - 131.4m #4 Someone You Loved (2019) - 124.8m #5 Beautiful Things (2024) - 121.0m Think it will end up somewhere around Beautiful Things and Someone You Loved. Blinding Lights is #6 on 115.2m which Ordinary should definitely beat
  4. Spotify YTD asof July 'Ordinary' now over 10m ahead of the nearest challenger which is still 'That's So True' - basically a lock for YE #1 and should do around 120m, but won't be able to match last year's totals from 'Stick Season' (142m) and 'Espresso' (131m). 'Love Me Not' broke into the top 10 this week, although I can't see it finishing the year any higher than #6. Overperformers on Spotify compared to the OCC are the same as previously with the three Kendrick Lamar songs continuing to hold up well here, with oldies such as 'Mr. Brightside' and 'Iris' also doing better. Aditionally, 'WILDFLOWER' seems to be maintaining momentum better on Spotify than the OCC list. All of Teddy Swims' stuff continues to underperform on Spotify compared to the OCC, especially 'The Door' at #45. Other underperformers include 'Nice to Meet You' (#44), Abracadabra (#53) and Anxiety (#64) - although the last two's positions are hindered further as they have now both dropped out of the weekly chart. '505' remains the highest song not on the OCC list at #61 with 'Feel Good Inc.' (#70) and 'Teenage Dirtbag' (#71) next on that list, although a re-entry on the OCC list is likely for the latter. The only 2025 hit in the Spotify top 100 that isn't in the OCC YTD currently is 'Like Him' at #97. As always, please ask if you have any questions :)
  5. Catfish and the Bottlemen
  6. Re-entry for Cocoon at #195 Tour effect I guess?

  8. Somebody Told Me re-entry at #200
  9. There’s no way this is true
  10. Am I the only person who likes the Giver?
  11. Wouldn’t consider either particularly likely by the end of the decade, they’d need to do over 1m a year. Think Mr. Brightside is currently favourite to get there first but the performance of the Christmas songs each year is hard to predict
  12. Not any time soon - assuming 750k sales a year, it will take around 85 more years to get there
  13. Maestro posted a post in a topic in UK Charts
The number is literally in the post you quoted?
  14. Very low streams all round even for a Sunday
  15. *2 and a bit. Which is effectively one and a bit on streaming as the Thursday numbers won’t be estimated properly
  16. Paranoid #87 on Apple, Crazy Train #147
  17. Dior next week for It's ok I'm ok. Think we'll be waiting a bit longer for Live Forever - Wonderwall and Don't Look Back in Anger stream massively better than every other Oasis song when they're not touring so will have had an elevated starting point. Not going to waste my time trying to estimate properly but would guess ~170k is where it's currently at
  18. RIP Ozzy Osbourne would expect quite a significant impact
  19. Likely to do better on Spotify too?
  20. Reset The Chain cowards OCC
  21. Neither Lose Control or Beautiful Things are anywhere near as likely to be in the chart in 7 years time as Mr. Brightside itself, that’s the point. For the last 4 years, Mr. Brightside has charted for 48 or 49 weeks out of 52, those are literally unbeatable numbers when it has a 400 week head start on every new song
  22. crazy comparison, even if Mr. Brightside was hypothetically banned from charting, Beautiful Things would have to spend the next 7 and a half years straight in the chart to catch up with its record.
  23. Another big loss for me, would’ve definitely expected this one to make it
  24. What’s the rules with this album tho, cos on Spotify the original album “Part 1” is tagged on the end, so I assume it will get the sales from that as well, which still has a few tracks streaming fairly decently
