  1. 500 weeks on chart coming in two weeks as well. Surely an OCC article is appropriate
  2. Amazing find! Looks like it works for older years too. Can see Lovin on Me was #203 in 2023 (which seems very low) for example.
  3. Where is this from sorry
  4. Another week with no new/re-entries this early on is somewhat surprising. Normally it’s over half way through the year before we get our first
  5. 4 more weeks til 500 for Mr. Brightside. I have a suspicion that when it gets there the OCC will do an article and confirm that it is now ahead of Shape of You in total units
  6. Last week’s chart is up too. Bella almost #1 on the 8th. Will see if she passes when the 9th and 10th updates hopefully come today
  7. Think there was a period last year where we didn’t get an update for 3 or 4 days in a row before they caught up
  8. new entry for second version of Rein Me In at #138 (I assume just a shorter edit). Still no weekly chart from last week
  9. No weekly Spotify update yet
  10. Nah not counting hence “sort of” - just mentioning it for that song.
  11. The loss of 'I Thought I Saw Your Face Today' makes it the highest song on the Spotify YTD not on the OCC list at #43, followed by fellow drop outs 'Sweater Weather' (#54) and 'Fame is a Gun' (#60) with 'Babydoll' third on the list at #59. Re-entry for 'Dog Days are Over' (2010: #93, 2023: #70, 2024: #99; 2025: #97) and sort of for 'Just the Way You Are' (#167 in 2002).
  12. Should’ve seen Florence coming really, had a strong last couple of weeks on Spotify
  13. Looks like a third week for Rein Me In to me (not that I’m complaining). Weird to see Can’t Stop as a re-entry at #81 (and Scar Tissue at #118), wonder if a bug meant they were excluded yesterday.
  14. And compared with last Christmas? Sorry can never remember
  15. Not great Spotify numbers for Bruno imo
  16. Babydoll and Homewrecker this week maybe?

I think its numbers are already too strong for that. Struggle to see it finding a 25% increase from where it’s at currently. Also not convinced she’ll perform that.
  18. Olivia potentially under threat from both Bella and Pink/Zara in terms of breaking the #1 record. Naive #48!!
  19. Not too much to say about this week's new entries and drop outs - none of the new entries have made prior year-ends. 'People Watching' departing leaves just 'A Bar Song (Tipsy)' and 'Seventeen Going Under' as the two songs yet to chart on audio streaming this year. 'DtMF' and (finally) 'Fame is a Gun' entering means that 'The Man Who Can't Be Moved' is now the highest placed song on the Spotify YTD not to be on the OCC list at #71, closely followed by 'Feel Good Inc.' and 'Babydoll' at #72 and #74 respectively. Although I think the latter has a good chance of entering next week.

They had always been up, just assigned to the wrong year.
  21. Ooo wasn’t expecting Dracula at all Finally Fame is a Gun is here
  22. You could equally argue that distorting the charts by adding all these rules to exclude songs meaning the actual published list is not representative of what is actually popular and thus makes the chart less relevant.
  23. I'd have Babydoll as an outside shout to enter this week. Although next week is more likely, think it outperforms on Spotify compared to other platforms.
  24. Where is the Man I Need in terms of total #1 days now?
  25. I Wanna Be Yours in 2023 is the closest. Charted for one week at #99 in 2022.
