  1. For the first time since 2020, Mr. Brightside drops out the weekly top 100.
  2. One Year Plus Current Daily Spotify Chart Runs #1 The Killers - Mr. Brightside (1,461 Days) #2 Noah Kahan - Stick Season (451 Days) #3 Teddy Swims - Lose Control (366 Days) #3 Vance Joy - Riptide (366 Days) #3 The Goo Goo Dolls - Iris (366 Days) #3 Fleetwood Mac - Dreams (366 Days) OUT: casso, RAYE & D-Block Europe (502 Days) Lord Huron - The Night We Met (365 Days) Hozier - Take Me to Church (365 Days) Arctic Monkeys - 505 (365 Days)
  3. Messy's the obvious one, it's going top 3 for sure. Also probably The Days (unfortunately), that should make the top 10.
  4. White Noise for Babies get that top 10 smash
  5. Brenda #1 combined. Great to see entries for All Alone on Christmas and Christmas is All Around from Love Actually Mr. Brightside survives despite only doing 114k
  6. Let’s see what Spotify says tomorrow. Not impossible I guess but seems somewhat unlikely to me
  7. Andy Williams up to #4 on Apple. Non-Christmas: #96 That’s So True #102 APT. #103 Messy #105 BIRDS OF A FEATHER #106 Die with a Smile #117 Taste #123 Espresso #126 Sailor Song #127 A Bar Song (Tipsy) #134 Somedays #136 Defying Gravity #137 Lose Control #139 Beautiful Things #140 Good Luck, Babe! #141 Night Changes #149 Please Please Please #150 Stargazing #154 I Had Some Help #155 Timeless #158 Too Sweet #159 The Door #164 Bad Dreams #169 Stick Season #175 Luther #182 Bed Chem #188 WILDFLOWER #189 What is This Feeling? #194 Nice to Meet You #197 Popular Not sure how Night Changes is apparently up 6 spots when every other non-Christmas song is massively down but sure
  8. The Apple positions would suggest to me that my suspicion about Mr. Brightside dropping out on Spotify might be correct
  9. I think it could go either way personally. Think streams could be up quite a lot tomorrow for Christmas songs. Guess we’ll wait and see.
  10. Christmas Hits: #1 Mariah #2 Wham! #3 Laufey #4 Brenda #5 Mark Ambor - Run Rudolph #6 Santa Tell Me #7 Jingle Bell Rock #8 Underneath the Tree #9 Holly Jolly Christmas (Bublé) #10 Santa Claus is Coming to Town (Springsteen) Pogues are #33
  11. Still no Cure? Where are the Killers please
  12. Just outside, went gold last week. Will end the year on around 415k so about 25k short of making the list
  13. Fairs, guess there's always margin for error when predicting the sales. Thanks as always for compiling. Guess we'll find out what the final chart looks like on Friday.
  14. Can you explain how Move has done 14k sales last week. It's below 'Holiday Road' on the independent chart which we know from the sales report only did 10k
  15. Assuming next week is the last week: Mariah's definitely in. Brenda needs ~130k to make it, which is almost certain imo. That's So True would probably need 55k which seems like a bit of a stretch so unlikely to make it. exes, KEHLANI & 360 are in danger
  16. #1 on Christmas Hits and yesterday’s numbers are very impressive, quite close to last year’s numbers when 23rd was a Saturday. Maybe 3.5mil is more realistic but I think it’ll get a new peak
  17. 2.5m tomorrow and probably nearly 4m on Christmas Day I’d guess Maybe even Messy and APT. Aren’t safe to stay top 40 officially
  18. Wham! #1 on Christmas Hits. Could go #1 globally. Bruce Springsteen’s Santa Claus is Comin’ to Town is #7 with Celine Dion up to #8 so massive new peaks for them tomorrow I’d assume
  19. I guess it’s impossible to tell unless the re-recorded version somehow gets certified. However it’s probably doing like 20k a year so we might be waiting a while
  20. Maestro posted a post in a topic in UK Charts
+5 The Pogues feat. Kirsty MacColl - Fairytale of New York +4 Mariah Carey - All I Want for Christmas is You +3 Brenda Lee - Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree +2 Wham! - Last Christmas +1 Bobby Helms - Jingle Bell Rock -1 Lola Young - Messy -2 ROSÉ & Bruno Mars - APT. -3 Tom Grennan - It Can’t Be Christmas -4 Gracie Abrams - That’s So True -5 Ariana Grande - Santa Tell Me
  21. Good to see the Pogues are still #3 for now.
  22. Jingle Bell Rock is now #1 on Christmas Hits again. O Holy Night by Celine Dion which I don’t think I’ve ever heard is #12 The Pogues have been moved back up to #26
  23. Brenda’s actually higher than that cos she’s got a second version doing 99k
  24. It also logically makes no sense to have to wait til after Christmas to find out what the Christmas #1 was. Even less people would care about it that way.
  25. Just had a look at their website and the last song that was #1 there that was an official #1 was BACKBONE in August
