Some very big (strange) moves on Spotify today even outside the Christmas songs. Sleigh Ride unsurprisingly takes a big hit from being moved down Christmas hits. That’s So True up 39 places and now above Pink Pony Club. Has secured #2 on Spotify YE now as a result probably

This will be its 11th week at #1 on Spotify compared to that one official week. Suspect it won’t get 12 next week due to Christmas but could see it returning after Christmas

Was expecting Move or Dakota to drop out this week not Guess. Think Move is next on the chopping block now

Guess that confirms that it’s not a 53 week chart year and the last week of the year will count towards 2026 despite 6/7 days being in 2025

Presumably this version of I Run has been cleared by lawyers or whatever?

Insane to see such big climbs for all the Christmas songs and the the Pogues only up 10 spots

Not sure when this change happened, but Wham! are now #1 on Christmas Hits on Spotify. #2 Brenda #3 Kelly #4 Mariah Wonder if this will help Wham! overtake Mariah globally, they got very close on a few days last year iirc
