  1. Am a bit behind on my estimates so am admittedly guessing a bit here, but these are the 5 songs I’d have on the chopping block: Belong Together It’s ok I’m ok Chasing Cars Teenage Dirtbag Another Love I think both of the last two are fairly solid but could drop out for a few weeks if we get a sudden influx of new big hits. Based on how well Oasis songs have been holding up so far and the length of their tour, I think Don’t Look Back in Anger will definitely show up at some point and possibly Live Forever too.

Mr. Brightside outside the top 50 must be pretty rare
  3. Wow, really thought Getaway Car would do better

  5. Dreams new peak at #12 on Spotify, even higher than after the Skateboard trend. No idea why
  6. not a good second day for Bieber Dakota new peak at #37
  7. Daises #3 on Spotify More importantly, Standing on Business is #186
  8. New peak for the chain?
  9. Decent start I think?
  10. As if he’s actually got a track called that lmao
  11. The Chain charts for the first time ever this week! Just before the rules come in to ban it
  12. What was #1 here? Adele?
  13. Bieber album out tonight - genuinely have no idea how well it will do. My intuition is that no one cares and it won’t do great numbers, but am not that confident on that belief. What do other people think?
  14. It’s not doing significantly better or worse than it’s done at any point over the last 2 and a half years (with the exception of the first week of 2024 where it was top 15). It’s basically an ever present in the top 50 (usually 40) with the exception of Christmas and massive album bombs.
  15. Strange to see the Oasis songs jump again, they didn’t perform on Sunday night right? Acquiese now above Wonderwall on Spotify so could chart even if the OCC reset everything

OCC apply your rules correctly challenge (impossible)

Tbh I think they’ll just reset everything and we’ll get Don’t Look Back in Anger, Wonderwall and Live Forever again. I know Acquiese is ahead atm but that can only be due to missing Spotify data. Guess we won’t find out until Friday what they’re gonna do tho. Poor Joseph will have to prepare posts for like 7 different Oasis songs.
  18. Back to friends #1 on the global chart
  19. If Champagne Supernova goes top 40 this week does Dream On get through?
  20. Would cause some problems for Gasman’s competition though
  21. Not as big as an effect as last year when it was announced and Live Forever got to #2
  22. Fair, but given it’s like #5 on the equivalent Spotify list I would’ve expected it to be higher tbh
  23. Wow, As It Was is only #75 on Apple Music’s top 500 songs list
  24. Beautiful Things has now completed a full top 14 run at #13 this week, only missing #15 and #17 from a full top 20. Close to You is back so I assume it’s never been to ACR, 3 weeks away from a full year on the chart before first going to ACR
  25. Let’s not take the piss here
