Oh wow - Our predictions are wildly different. I have back to friends and Tell Me both on 147k and Sorry I'm Here for Someone Else on 146k. Not sure how we could have a 11k difference on Tell Me, maybe I've double counted a week at some point.

"back to friends" should enter the YTD next week, I'd predict "505" to drop straight back out. "Sorry I'm Here for Someone Else" and "Tell Me" will be close next week but I don't think they'll make it til the week after. "Arm's Length", "Chasing Cars" and "GBP" will be in trouble then, I think "Don't Stop Me Now"'s sales have picked up enough to keep it safe for now. Please could I have positions for Riptide, Sex on Fire and Naive @Julian_ Also on a side note that despite being #66 here, "The Giver" is still yet to enter the top 100 on the Spotify YTD (Currently #108 between "I Remember Everything" and "She Moves in Her Own Way"). It won't enter the top 100 there til week 21 at the earliest!

Wham! and the Killers will definitely overtake - I think Mr. Brightside will be the first song to 11x platinum. Band Aid should get past as well, but difficult to know what sales that will manage this year. Julian might have a better estimate than me for Shape of You, but I’d guess ~6.45m

I would think it’s ahead atm, no way Wham! have sold 120k since week 1 of the year

Can’t wait for all these songs to decline for the next two weeks before climbing again on the third week as the second week has a bank holiday in.

I'm late but brief summary: 505 drops out as expected, however it also dropped out on audio streaming meaning that all songs which have charted on the audio streaming chart in ever week this year (of which there are 45), remain on the YTD. The Sound of Silence remains the only song on the YTD to not yet have charted on audio streaming (side note, this is gonna be tough to estimate now it's on ACR). Please could I have the positions for A Sky Full of Stars and Belong Together - I've made a bit of a mess predicting them I think and I'm not sure where they are exactly. Not sure about the 505 re-entry personally, feel like Pink Skies has probably done enough to hold on.

Spotify YTD after a third of the year (can provide other positions if people want them). Big gainers compared to OCC chart are All the Stars, Headlock and tv off. Big underperformers on Spotify compared to the OCC Bad Dreams, The Door and Nice to Meet You (which is #46). See You Again is still the highest ranked song not on the OCC list at #59.

Based on the independent singles chart, 505 had a terrible week so I think it will be that to go.

OMG Maybe it can chart this week. Crazy numbers - would guess it benefits from the nice weather. Previous peak was #44 in 2017 I think. She Moves in Her Own Way up to #65 too.

At the top end of the chart definitely. However overall they’re up as sales lower down the chart have increased. For example I’d guess that #40 on the YTD this week has more sales than #40 on the equivalent YTD last year.

MUTT must have actually been very close to entering last week based on that number. Say My Name (Remix) should show up next week, think it will probably be the only entry, would guess 505 drops out.

Last week's positions for the top 40 are also incorrect - showing everything as a non-mover

Yeah I have Prada struggling too, but I think Like Him is struggling more. I only had Pink Skies doing 7k so I guess I’m underestimating there.

Ah right. I can’t remember exactly where I had Pink Skies but I think it was 96-98 range. And I had CRG around 90 still so I’ve got both of them wrong

Naive up to #56 on Spotify (its highest in a while). It normally does best on Thursday so I wonder if it can sneak into the top 50 tomorrow. It spent one day there last year iirc.
