  1. I enjoy the challenge and at least I get the information of what is entering and leaving each week. Would never have predicted The Chain for example was in without that information
  2. oh wow, I've made a bit of a mess of some of the bottom of the chart in that case - I really imagined that 360 was still doing similar numbers to when it dropped out on Spotify at the end of last year but was still managing 8/8.5k a week.
  3. Tbf it's very fine margins at the bottom with a lot of songs doing ~8k a week, but that's a couple of thousand higher than I have Diet Pepsi which can make all the difference. I think 360's sales have been propped up a bit from the freefall that you've estimated by the Grammy's and the Brits, I'm sure it will linger for a while, but I wouldn't expect either it or Apple to hang around until the end of the year.
  4. I think No One Noticed and Raving in the Studio are a bit closer than that, I have them both on ~78k (as of today's chart) and I wouldn't expect the cut off next week to be much higher than 82k. 360 is a very difficult one to estimate because its sales seem to be much better than its Apple & Spotify performances suggest (due to remixes I guess), it caught me out at the end of last year so now I'm quite generous estimating it, but I think it'll be safe for a while, I have at at #83 on 79k as of last week
  5. As I'm a little late it's worth noting that as of week 10, The Chain has now charted on audio streaming this year (#100 this week). Another Love and The Sound of Silence are still yet to. Feel like I Remember Everything (#39 last year) could hang around for a bit, think it has quite a good premium ratio. Unwritten is a guaranteed re-entry next week, I'd guess at the expense of Diet Pepsi. Beyond that I'm not sure, No One Noticed, Casual and Raving in the Studio haven't quite done enough I don't think, so any other entries are likely to be surprise oldies, I have no idea what else is in trouble at the bottom either (maybe Naive?) In response to gasman predicting an appearance for Do I Wanna Know?, looking at the independent chart, I don't think its weekly numbers are strong enough currently
  6. I think 'greedy' probably got reset this week but is just starred out. Could see it reappear in a couple of weeks if it holds its momentum and passes 'It's ok I'm ok' and 'I know love'

High Hopes should be 4x platinum
  8. 15.4 apparently
  9. The same issue occurs when trying to reply to a blog. When sending a PM, I am able to type in the recipient field and subject field but am unable to type an actual message as I see the same issue
  10. The issue clearly stems from having an out of date iOS or Safari on the device you're trying to post from. I am not in a position where I am able to update my phone so is there anything else that can be done to allow me to post on it?
  11. I'm afraid I can still only post on my laptop unfortunately as it's still not working on my phone. Tbh it's probably just my phone being trash as it's pretty old, hoping to get a new one soon.
  12. 6 for 6.
  13. Interesting. I think it could be 'I Remember Everything' which has had a bit of a resurgence on Spotify. Either that or 'Unwritten' is back again, which will definitely be back next week either way.
  14. Yes I am replying on desktop, but I was able to post the above image from my phone, just with no text caption which I am now adding on desktop. This is the case on every thread as far as I can tell.
  15. Hi, this did not fix the issue
  16. Ever since the website update, I am unable to post at all on my phone (using Safari browser on iPhone). When I click on the 'Reply to this topic...' box it opens a text box window with a circle in it which just stays there and never gives me any ability to type. Any suggestions on how to fix this?
  17. Back in the Spotify chart having dropped out the last couple of weeks so it's definitely avoiding
  18. Some very large climbers for no good reason #50 (+68) Unwritten #52 (+73) Austin (Boots Stop Workin') #62 (+97) greedy
  19. Having now done my estimations I agree with gasman that Ordinary and Arm's Length are definitely in this week at the expense of I Always Wanted a Brother and End of Beginning (#23 last year, re-entering this week), which seemed to get a one week boost on Spotify before falling back again. I also think Valerie might be in trouble soon. Always possible we get a surprise entry again like The Chain last week, which is actually outperforming Go You Own Way on Spotify despite not having charted on audio streaming yet this year - I assume the two songs sales are fairly highly correlated and Go Your Own Way re-entered on audio streaming this week, so I'd predict The Chain to be safe for at least this week. EDIT: Forgot to add this as I hadn't really been paying attention until this week, but where are Burning Down's sales coming from, it's doing very well given it isn't charting on either Apple or Spotify.
  20. The Pitbull tour effect on Spotify has been much bigger than I would've expected: #53 Give Me Everything #74 DJ Got Us Fallin' in Love #96 Timber #150 Time of Our Lives #189 Hotel Room Service #194 International Love

Not a fair comparison, for a song to achieve 300k sales from streaming it would need to be streamed at absolute minimum 30 million times assuming that all streams were 'premium streams'

The argument for the charts not being 'real' shouldn't be down to streaming itself imo, which is for the most part a fair metric of popularity but ACR which distorts it beyond belief - often the case where songs in the weekly top 40 aren't even in the top 100 of the week when you take out ACR
  23. Haven't calculated my estimates for last week yet but I would guess that Djo will go straight back out.
  24. What happened to the longest runners summary?
  25. Wow at The Chain, was not on my radar at all as it has not charted on audio streaming yet this year (no idea when it last did tbh). As alluded to already, it was incredibly unlucky to miss out on the YE list in 2021 as it got pushed out by Merry Christmas Everyone in the last week I believe (unofficially but almost certainly #101 for the year). Although very unlikely, I would love it to make the year end, one of the best songs of all time imo.
