  1. Justice for I Dunno. Think I was the only person to give it points lmao
  2. Apple: #180 NEW Gunna - blackjack From his album last year, I assume TikTok?
  3. All the singles from Hot Fuss are amazing tbh. Plus some of the album tracks. Change Your Mind especially
  4. No idea why but yay at the Somebody Told Me re-entry. Mr. Brightside up to #18 too!
  5. Both releases are combined in the same chart run on the OCC website, so I don't see why they wouldn't be
  6. Another Love is the only re-entry this week (previously: 2013: #86, 2021: #75, 2022: #27, 2023: #21, 2024: #62) It joins Dancing in the Moonlight (which must somehow have a great premium ratio, I assume Amazon) and Not Like Us as songs yet to chart on audio streaming this year to be in the YTD. Chasing Cars and Seventeen Going Under have now charted on audio streaming. 505 and Ransom still haven't left the audio streaming chart but are yet to chart here. I do think 505 will enter next week however along with Wake Me Up. Other possible entries include The Sound of Silence, Wonderwall and maybe Feel Good Inc. but I'm guessing tbh, any random oldie could turn up really. Not too surprising based on Spotify, I Remember Everything (and Something in the Orange for that matter) have dropped off significantly post Christmas. Luckily Pink Skies is still doing well, would be great if that could hold on all year somehow.
  7. What’s the Russian thing?
  8. Yes, that rain sound shows up occasionally

Presumably there’s no danger of Robbie getting moved to the compilation chart before Friday
  10. What on earth is that new entry

That’s absolutely wild from Jimin. Where are the sales even coming from this week? It’s not really doing anything on Apple or Spotify, has it got insane downloads or something?

    Go away
  13. I get a mixture of oldies and current stuff, some of the stuff I had the other day: Yellow - Coldplay Breakeven - The Script Sailor Song - Gigi Perez Torn - Natalie Imbruglia People Watching - Sam Fender Every Breath You Take - The Police Birds of a Feather - Billie Eilish This Charming Man - The Smiths Pink Skies - Zach Bryan Africa - TOTO There She Goes - The La’s
  14. I can't imagine many people in the US have even heard of the Kooks and Florence has only ever had two songs chart over there, although she might have a bit more visibility now having been featured on The Tortured Poets Department.
  15. Yes i would be inclined to agree there. However it seems strange that Oasis can't break that trend but Florence + the Machine and the Kooks to name a couple of examples can, both having two songs in the weekly top 200 two weeks ago.
  16. I mean possibly but unlikely imo. That would’ve required some genuine hype around this Aitch release which clearly doesn’t exist. The not showing up on any other platform is a big sign of autoplay imo. Other genuinely popular oldies (Sex on Fire, Iris, Naive, all the Fleetwood Mac stuff for example) have a fairly constant presence on Apple too. It only showing up on Spotify suggests to me it’s getting extra promotion there. On the other side of the coin, I can only assume Oasis have much better promotion on Apple as Wonderwall and Don’t Look Back in Anger are still top 60 there whereas they’re barely top 200 on Spotify. [EDIT: in relation to Lewis’ post about Gorillaz, forgot to quote it and someone replied in between]
  17. Oh no I agree, I have no complaints about the song choices, Can’t Stop by RHCP is another potential example of this. All these songs are probably fairly popular anyway, but I do think their numbers are being inflated at certain times. The way Brown Eyed Girl completely bombed out after being comfortably around the top 75 for months and months makes no sense imo.
  18. I have suspicions regarding autoplay on Gorillaz. Was another one of those songs that showed up very high for a few weeks last year before dropping out completely and then suddenly reappearing a few months later and rinse and repeat. We'll see how long it hangs around this year. Could be this year's equivalent of Brown Eyed Girl if Every Breath You Take hasn't already taken that role.
  19. Rough Estimates of songs that have gone to DCL-2: Diet Pepsi This is What You Came For Sympathy is a knife Close to You on one tonight Thick of It It's ok I'm ok 2 hands Also Indestructible but it dropped out anyway. Some of those are basically flat week on week so it's difficult to say for certain, with the exception of NIGHTS LIKE THIS which is also close, everything not on the above list which was on DCL-1 last week is definitely back to zero weeks of decline.
  20. Didn’t clock Carry You Home was gonna get a reset but fair enough tbh. Skipping it is a choice
  21. Weird drop for this
  22. New Central Cee already #35 on Apple (Band4Band is also back at #135) Looking to be a decent sized hit? Although I think he usually does better on Apple?
  23. Have they ever skipped this garbage
  24. Yep and Not Like Us too actually - forgot to think about the new entries.
  25. Some belated stats regarding this week's entries. Out of the 10 entries, 6 of them have made a year end list before: Florence + the Machine - Dog Days are Over [2010: #93, 2023: #70, 2024: #99] Sam Fender - Seventeen Going Under [2022: #10, 2023: #63] Fleetwood Mac - Go Your Own Way [2023: #91] Florence + the Machine - You've Got the Love [2009: #95, 2010: #59] Kendrick Lamar - Not Like Us [2024: #43] Snow Patrol - Chasing Cars [2006: #14, 2007: #34, 2008: #95] The six tracks that were in the YTD last week but not the audio streaming chart, their positions this week are: #68 Coldplay - A Sky Full of Stars #90 The Kooks - Naive #92 Red Wine Supernova #97 Tate McRae - It's ok I'm ok #xx Toploader - Dancing in the Moonlight #xx Coldplay - feelslikeimfallinginlove (Left YTD) Dancing in the Moonlight is now the only song in the YTD to not have charted on audio streaming yet this year. Ransom (#65 this week) and 505 (#79) have charted for both weeks on audio streaming but aren't in the YTD. Go Your Own Way dropped out of the audio streaming chart this week, but entered the YTD. Next week I'd anticipate entries from Wake Me Up, I Always Wanted a Brother and Denial is a River.
