  1. This Christmas is definitely a cover
  2. Top 5 on Apple has shifted around again 1. Pogues 2. Jack Harlow 3. Shaky 4. Mariah 5. Wham! Interesting that Jack Harlow has stalled at #2 - leaves me optimistic (delusional) that the Pogues can hold on to #3 officially on Friday
  3. Imagine Tom Petty will be out tomorrow tbh, or on Friday’s update at the latest. Hopefully Ocean Alley will be able to get a reset in the new year
  4. Yeah LadBaby shouldn’t count imo
  5. I think the Christmas song onslaught will prevent it. Plus she’s probably doing zero on every other platform
  6. Oh I absolutely agree. I’d also say there’s a solid chance that Mariah is above the Pogues when combined too.
  7. Shaky back up to #2 ahead of Wham! on Apple (obviously Wham! are ahead when combined with the second version) The Pogues still holding strong at #1 tho!
  8. I hope the Pogues can hold onto #3. How do you rate their chances of that?
  9. Is this Juliera thing legit?
  10. In other news, the Pogues are back at #1 on Apple with Shaky down to #3
  11. Define Christmas song does stuff like Stay Another Day and River count?
  12. Shaky!
  13. Wham! have to be big favourites then, can’t see the Pogues making up the difference especially if Wham! have physicals. What are their current odds?
  14. Perfect the year after too
  15. Is 340 consecutive top 50 days a record? Only songs that I think could maybe have beaten it are Shape of You or Blinding Lights?
  16. One million! Could go OCC #1 this week then? Think we can safely rule Jack Harlow out of Christmas #1
  17. Problem is she’ll be starred out behind Is It Over Now?, Cruel Summer and Now That We Don’t Talk this week, so it’ll have to be next week
  18. In Ireland the Pogues are #2 on Spotify, only behind Stick Season. Also #18 in Sweden and #19 in Norway
  19. Unless a massive download campaign is successful, which I don't see tbh, will be tricky to find the 30,000 or so downloads required, I would be inclined to agree the Pogues can't do it
  20. The Pogues are now number 2 and only behind Jack Harlow on Apple
  21. The Pogues are up to #5 on Apple
  22. I think it depends if anyone can get a proper download campaign for the Pogues going or not
  23. Bits of the north of England have snow atm so expect jumps for Dean Martin and Sinatra tomorrow
  24. Christmas songs starting to climb again on Apple Taylor's also at #44 with You're Losing Me
  25. On the last Monday of November last year for comparison: #2 All I Want for Christmas is You (312,186) #3 Last Christmas (306,475) #12 Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree (221,616)
