  1. Almost everything is down massively on streams. New Year’s Day streams are notoriously low
  2. Spotify update would be nice
  3. Mr. Brightside did ~400k more than Blinding Lights this year, so yes.
  4. Here is a very rough decade to date chart, Julian may have better numbers that he can correct mine with: 1 The Weeknd - Blinding Lights (4.56m) 2 Ed Sheeran - Bad Habits (3.89m) 3 Lewis Capaldi - Someone You Loved (3.49m) 4 The Killers - Mr. Brightside (3.18m) 5 Wham! - Last Christmas (3.09m) 6 Harry Styles - As It Was (3.04m) 7 Glass Animals - Heat Waves (3.03m) 8 Tones and I - Dance Monkey (2.99m) 9 Mariah Carey - All I Want for Christmas is You (2.92m) 10 Ed Sheeran - Shivers (2.89m) 11 Joel Corry feat. MNEK - Head & Heart (2.85m) 12 Harry Styles - Watermelon Sugar (2.69m) 13 The Weeknd - Save Your Tears (2.66m) 14 Olivia Rodrigo - good 4 u (2.57m) 15 Lewis Capaldi - Before You Go (2.55m) 16 Noah Kahan - Stick Season (2.52m) 17 Dua Lipa feat. I suspect that if Wham! do cling onto the top 40 that they will be played whatever position they end up.

Noah and Raye going number 1 was pretty obvious tbf

On New Year’s Day in 2021 the whole chart was basically Christmas stuff and they played it then
  8. Wham! are #143 but that’s it

The last thing we needed, if they reset that, they really should reset Die with a Smile too

I’m slightly suspicious of this update, I think there’s a lot of data missing. I don’t see how Mr. Brightside could be as low as #74, I was expecting it around #50. Also why has This is What You Came For got a reset

Ngl I see no good reason for there not to be a first look/chart update tonight.
  13. I think Wham! will be much higher than that tbh. They were #81 last year when the chart week started on the 29th. Starting on the 27th I think they will make top 50.
  14. Every Breath You Take seems to be the latest old song to get an autoplay boost from Spotify
  15. A total of 184 Songs made the YTD list at some point this year, with 40 entering in the first week and not leaving at any point, including Naive and Dial Drunk which didn't spend one week in the singles chart all year. Exes entered in week one and stayed for the whole year before dropping out in week 52. Linger entered and dropped out 3 separate time before entering for a fourth time and staying til the end of the year in week 40. Valerie and Wonderwall dropped out twice before entering for a third time. Full list of every entry here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/136D...dit?gid=0#gid=0
  16. That seems like a near certainty to me tbh. Not sure how I feel about Blinding Lights losing the record to that song
  17. I’m not hopeful for the Cure making the top 100, looks like they only did 3.5k this week
  18. No. The only stuff eligible for a reset this week is stuff that went to ACR in December (plus exceptional circumstances like Murder on the Dancefloor last year). None of Sabrina’s stuff falls into either of those categories so it shouldn’t be getting reset as far as I’m aware.
  19. Rough estimates: #1 Ed Sheeran - Shape of You 6.45m #2 Band Aid - Do They Know It’s Christmas? 6.27m #3 Wham! - Last Christmas 6.21m #4 The Killers - Mr Brightside 6.06m #5 Lewis Capaldi - Someone You Loved 5.85m At the end of next year Wham! should be #1. Although it is possible the Killers briefly get a stint there as well
  20. Wham! at least will definitely still be in the top 100 next week.
  21. Debuted on the global Spotify chart in todays update and now showing up on UK Apple: #192 Naughty Boy feat. Sam Smith - La La La TikTok?
  22. Will either be with the chart update on Monday or the first chart of next year on Sunday. Not sure which
  23. Estimated #101 - #105: #101 Tate McRae - exes #102 Jordan Adetunji - KEHLANI #103 Oasis - Don't Look Back in Anger #104 Gracie Abrams - That's So True #105 Mitski - My Love Mine All Mine
  24. Yay at new peaks for Sleigh Ride and Feliz Navidad
  25. Hit it from the from the
