  1. The Scientist showing up as predicted, this would be its first appearance on a year end list as it failed to even make the top 200 in either 2002 or 2003. As discussed Show Me Love will definitely show up next week and I'm pretty sure MUTT will as well. Say My Name is more of an outside shot. Pink Skies and BMF are on the chopping block and I'd guess Creep as well. Additionally I think 505 and Chasing Cars could be in trouble soon, although both CRG and Like Him are falling much harder.
  2. Using Q4 data will heavily overstate Amazon’s market share due to Christmas I would imagine
  3. It re-appeared on the audio streaming chart last week (just). Think it’s got a pretty poor premium ratio tho so would need to maintain this level (or higher) for quite a few weeks to stand a chance of showing up on the YTD imo.
  4. I think at Christmas there’s a very easy large selection of songs to just put on in the background by default. Easter doesn’t have that so people just don’t bother at all
  5. I personally listen to a lot more music when I'm at work than at home. The Spotify numbers seem to support this. Streams of #50 song on Spotify the last few Fridays (new entries in top 50) 21 March: 151k (0) 28 March: 161k (7) 4 April: 157k (3) 11th April: 162k (1) 18th April: 138k (1) [BANK HOLIDAY] Pretty clear that the assumption is valid
  6. BIRDS OF A FEATHER #3 seriously? Streams unsurprisingly low across the board due to Easter Sunday, would expect the same tomorrow on Bank Holiday Monday. Old songs in general seem to benefit from this for whatever reason, Dreams at #24 might be the highest its been since the 2020 viral moment. Also apparently it's charted before (even with a peak of #88) but a big fan of You Can Call Me Al showing up at #189
  7. Nah I don’t think so cos he charts on Apple too so would suggest at least a decent portion should be legit I’d guess
  8. Derulo’s back at #25 with his fake streams. Davido’s songs showing up as new entries today for some of his songs? Sultans of Swing re enters at #166. Don’t Stop Me Now also finally showing up #165, finally making a dent on Spotify this year.
  9. Happened with Santa Tell Me a couple of years ago when the “Naughty Version” was released. It reverted a few days later.
  10. Ah nice one. I didn’t really have a formal estimate for The Scientist, was a bit of a punt that it could enter after a good week on Spotify, nice to see you agree.
  11. Yeah, I think it's not quite done enough to make it this week - I have Wonderwall at #100 on 122k and I can't see the cut off going up by less than 7k. I also have Say My Name on 123.5k, so also not too far away. Do you have estimates for that and MUTT
  12. I think 'The Scientist' enters this week as well actually. Let’s add ‘MUTT’ as an outside contender too, I have it at 127.5k after today’s chart, but there’s definitely enough margin of error in that estimate that it could sneak in this week.
  13. It doesn’t crash for me but the formatting is terrible and it’s not user friendly at all, especially on mobile. I do personally think it’s better than the old version, but they’re both pretty bad
  14. Numbers seem very low across the board - I guess due to Spotify being down for some time yesterday.
  15. Re-entry for Wonderwall this week (previously: 1995: #10, 1996: #51, 2021: #76, 2022: #80, 2023: #78, 2024: #75), it has charted on audio streaming for one week this year (#96 in week 3). Therefore The Sound of Silence is still the only song currently on the YTD not to have charted on audio streaming yet this year. The Giver will definitely enter next week, no other obvious entry imo, but I'm sure we'll get something. I think Close to You, Creep and Pink Skies are in trouble, have accepted that Everybody Wants to Rule the World is likely to just keep clinging on for now. Still think that's an optimistic estimate, 110k is the absolute max I could see it being at tbh. I agree with Julian that it won't show up, especially with it down to #50 in the mids. Looks like Sultans of Swing is also out of the picture, think that was also a victim of whatever went on with what I'm assuming was an Amazon streaming number adjustment last week.
  16. New Shaboozey x Miles Smith is #64 on Apple. New AJ Tracey is #91
  17. Would've thought not and that it would only contribute to the video streaming chart, but difficult to know as i'm not entirely sure how YouTube Music works
  18. On a separate note, there's some interesting moves in the audio streaming chart which don't make sense in comparison to Spotify which leads me to believe that streaming sales from other services (most likely Amazon) have been re calibrated this week or promotion of these older songs have been changed on other streaming services (Go Your Own Way had a very strong week on Apple too so i'm not entirely sure). Go Your Own Way dropping out on audio streaming from #69 last week despite climbing on Spotify. Don't Stop Me Now dropping out on audio streaming from #83 and moving #3-#6 on the rock chart. Everywhere moving #51-#66 on audio streaming despite climbing on Spotify. Don't Stop Believin' moving #56-#80 on audio streaming despite climbing on Spotify. Not sure what to make of it but something doesn't add up imo - should have an effect on the YTD chart.
  19. hmm interesting, I would have considered my estimate a bit conservative but 120k seems like too much imo. But as you said there's a large amount of guesswork going on for the first few weeks of the year so it's not impossible.
  20. My estimate must be way off if you're right here, only have it on 100k
  21. Maestro posted a post in a topic in UK Charts
Do we have a total estimate for Everywhere including pre-1994 sales?
  22. Derulo is up to #20 with his suspicious streams Carry You Home down 21 spots also seems strange
  23. Correct, Spotify website only has data since 2017. Kworb has data since 2013 for the weekly chart and 2014 for the daily one, daily all time peak for Outside is #3
  24. I had Love Me Not on 109k so was not anticipating it showing up for another week. Apple will definitely drop out this week I think, nothing new is doing well enough to replace it so it's a guessing game as to which oldie re-enters.
  25. I see the Derulo thing is now in the top 50, is it charting anywhere else, could the streams be genuine?
