ummmmm Gag

I’ll take 25th after 5 contests not being in the final! Thank you for the two golds!! (Rob + mysterious second voter)

I didn’t even know some of the bottom 10 for my artist so this was difficult lol

Texas (favourite) Bananarama Fontaines DC Sade Depeche mode New Order (least favourite) Love that Texas song - that and Inner Smile are my favs of theirs… I’m still holding out hope to hear ‘The Conversation’ but that’s just me! That bottom 2…. I’m ready for them to gracefully bow out soon lol. Between all the songs I’ve heard from DM, NW and Ultravox I could not for the life of me say with certainty which song was sent by which group.

I’m down to a final 18 and finding it very difficult to cut down my final 3… strong final!

Sam Fender (Favourite) Tom Grennan Calvin Harris Darin Sam Smith Gary Numan (least favourite) Thank you to this competition for reminding me of that Sam Fender banger! This was also probs Tom’s best entry so far. The Calvin one is a little cheeky but such a banger! Was never a fan of that Sam S track and I just don’t think mr Numan is for me

Sophie Ellis Bextor (favourite) Robyn Adele Marina Kate Bush Zara Larsson (least favourite) SEB just casually sending one of the best songs of all time…the other ladies were gagged. That Robyn track reminds me of the GTA V days! I like all 6 songs here !! Another amazing round from the ladies

How spooky do these entries need to be? What if the song isn’t spooky but the artist has a bit of a spooky name? 🤣

I literally don’t have a spooky entry to enter here but the concept of being OtherMothertopia…

Reading through these now!!! Yay at me breaking my DNQ streak! Mother’s renaissance incoming. Devastated for Harmonica though - I was playing that banger while cooking tonight and loving it!

Not too sad about those eliminations from the boys or groups but losing Jessie hurts! When the round was put up I thought she’d sail through this round but The Girls are just such a strong group that anyone could go! Hopefully she can send something undeniable like What’s Your Pleasure in the comeback round and earn her place back because she’s got some fabulous songs in her discography that haven’t had the chance to see the light of day!

Bananarama (Favourite) Fontaines DC Texas New Order Years & Years Sade Depeche Mode Ultravox Iamamiwhoami (least favourite)

Sam Smith (favourite) Calvin Harris Sam Fender Tom Grennan HRVY Gary Numan Darin Roosevelt Damien Rice (least favourite) Sam x3 really brought it for me this round!

Adele (favourite) Jessie Ware Sophie Ellis-Bextor Agnes Robyn Kate Bush Leona Lewis Zara Larsson MARINA (least favourite) Great round from these girls!

BJSC 189 - MISSU - OUTTASIGHT Let’s try this again…

Bananarama (favourite) New Order Sade Texas Ultravox Years & Years Iamamiwhoami Depeche Mode Fontaines DC M83 (least favourite) Good top 5. Glad Bananarama have managed to top my ranking for the first time - I love all the singles I know by them !

Jessie Ware (favourite) Zara Larsson Robyn Leona Lewis Adele MARINA Agnes Sophie Ellis-Bextor Kate Bush Dido (least favourite) Another amazing round from the girls with two great discoveries from Leona & Robyn!! Anything from the What’s Your Pleasure era is gonna be high up for me!!

Sam Fender (favourite) Sam Smith Roosevelt Tom Grennan HRVY Gary Numan Calvin Harris Lewis Capaldi Darin Damien Rice (least favourite) The Sam’s really brought it for me this round! Some nice discoveries from Roosevelt, Tom & HRVY too. Maybe I’d known the Calvin/Tinashe track at the time I might have liked it more but I thought it was only okay.

Years & Years (favourite) Texas Ultravox Iamamiwhoami Bananarama Fontaines DC M83 Depeche Mode Sade New Order Vengaboys (least favourite) :/

Lewis Capaldi (favourite) Calvin Harris Sam Smith Darin Sam Fender HRVY Roosevelt Tom Grennan Gary Numan Damien Rice Mackenzy Mackay (least favourite) HRVY has performed a miracle! They sent a banger that I actually genuinely liked! The Darin song was probs my fav discovery but I also wasn’t aware of that Sam Fender track before this competition.

Zara Larsson (favourite) Sophie Ellis Bextor Adele MARINA Jessie Ware Leona Lewis Robyn Milica Pavlović Agnes Dido Kate Bush (least favourite) another great round from the girls! Amazing top 5 and not a single song I didn’t like! Milica is really bringing it too - kinda need her to go all the way lmao Love the Glassheart pick for Leona… my dream pick for her for an album track would be “Shake you up”!

Im shocked by the Tove Lo of it all in the Girls group. Her discography is full of songs that could have smashed this competition i cannot believe she’s the first out! Not too sad about the Bladee loss but I am sad about Dead or Alive purely just from a discovery standpoint… would love a few suggestions for them once the person behind them is revealed!
