A decade of hits?
Not the answer you wanted exactly, but Status quo have had a top 75 hit every year since 1973, except for years 1985 ,1987,1993,1997, 1998,2001 and 2003.

Wonder where 'Wigwam' will debut?. ("Betty boo's" new band with someone from Blur in it as well). I quite like that song. :)

Jade Goody
You are right. Jade must be clever than us ;) and East Anglia is 'angular' anyway, its gots lots of angles, (and saxons).

Jade Goody
Not bad Jade!, quite good in fact!. I think with some voice training on the phrasing she be VERY good!. Sang it in tune, and didn't sound bad at all. If she is in celeb x factor a lot of people might be surprised at her singing!

Overhyped Artists
To me overated is an act which gets hyped up, but doesnt actually have the commercial success to back it up. Otherwise its just another way of listing acts you dont personally like. eg. I dont like Westlife, but they certainly arent overrated as their continued commercial success shows. Id agree that 'menswear' were overated, critically accliamed. but had relativly little commercial success. If you dont use commercial success as a yardstick, then isnt it just a simple list of acts people dont like?.

UK Chart Commentary from James Masterton 13/03/06
" At the very least it maintains his 100% strike rate of Top 10 hits although a failure to climb next week will make this single his smallest ever chart hit. " 100% top ten? His latest is 18 so far, as the report says. also 25/10/2003 Craig David World Filled With Love 15 {15}-26-42-61->4 and 'smallest ever chart hit? what about 10/01/2004 Craig David You Don't Miss Your Water ('til The Well Runs Dry) 43 {43}-53->2 (source polyhex)

Retro acts in this weeks album chart
This weeks chart has three new entries, all from retro acts. Dave Gilmour number one! Also new entries for Van Morrison and David Essex. In fact these three are out of the only 4 new entries in this weeks top twenty albums. Also an entry for Leo Sayer in the top thirty.

genre defining tracks..
The first Sabbath album and the track 'Black sabbath' defined metal, with its flattened fifth given prominance, a device found in almost all present day metal. Songs like 'born to be wild' etc more define general rock, if you decide to go back to what influenced all rock, metal included, then Chuck Berry etc would have to be a contender. But for what we know as metal today as opposed to rock, its definatly Sabbath. Although I'd give Jimi Hendrix a credit as well for influencing guitar work.
