Why would you have a go at someone because of their sig?, especially in these circumstances. I dont understand some people these days.
  2. They spammed loads of rock videos to get people to thumbs down.
  3. Thats exactly what they did. called themselves the 'metal militia' , designed to thumb down JB videos. spammed loads of rock videos.....I don't think they really thought it properly.
  4. This is what made me laugh at 'the metal militia' campaign to thumbs down Bieber videos. All they achieved was giving him extra views and thousands of extra dollars. Fools.
  5. Surprisingly, no..the biggest selling Album of 2006 was Alanis Morrisette(JLP). 2,080,000 The previous most albums sold in a year(thats been recorded) was James Blunt in 2005(one album), with 2.3 million, and Michael Jackson(Numerous albums), 2.1 million in 2009. So Adele has the single album and culmulative albums record.
  6. Apart from Adele of course, I've just noticed Jessie J has already also sold more than last year's end of year number one(Eminem).
  7. Yes, quite astonishing!. This is 1.2 million more than anyone has sold before in a calender year in the UK. And still over 20 weeks left!. Heres the top ten YTD albums for the same time last year. 1 Lady Gaga Fame 757600 2 Alicia Keys Element Of Freedom 631200 3 Florence & The Machine Lungs 607400 4 Paolo Nutini Sunny Side Up 598800 5 Michael Buble Crazy Love 412200 6 Mumford & Sons Sigh No More 399200 7 Plan B Defamation Of Strickland Banks 381400 8 Boyzone Brother 355000 9 Justin Bieber My World 339800 10 Glee Cast Glee - The Music - Season One - Vol 1 337400 Noone more than 3/4 towards a million.
  8. I think 3- 3.5 million.
  9. Calm down guys...its just personal opinion ya know. I'm wondering why Leona needs auto-tune?. She doesn't imo, so why have they auto-tuned her voice in parts of this song?. Ive heard this song quite a few times now and its not really grabbing me at all. I want to hear her singing a proper song, with real vocals, like she used to.

Is there a list of the fastest to a million?. I know Elton John and Will young did it in a week, but who was the fastest apart from charity and Talent show songs.

Going back, a bit, heres some acts whose 2nd album did better than the first and indeed, the 2nd one was the one which kicked them into superstar status. 1969 Led Zeppelin 2. No singles off it, hardly any radio play except occasionally from Alan freeman and John Peel...became huge through reputation, touring and word of mouth. critics mostly slagged them off, us kids loved them. 1970 Black Sabbath: Paranoid album. Hugely strong lead single helped this album to massive success, again slagged off by the critics, loved by those that mattered. ;) Both albums recorded and released less than a year after their first.
  12. I'm mainly a rhythm guitarist...I love John Lennons rhythm work for eg, quite syncopated and choppy, which I try to emulate, although I dont know how the guy manages to do those fast triplet strums in 'All my loving' and still keep the beat perfectly, when I try it always slips back to 2 beat (1-2 1-2), rather than the triplet rhythm(1-2-3 1-2-3). He must have had wrists of steel.
  13. Well, they played download, noone bottled them and they performed one of the best received sets of the weekend.
  14. You can hear a pin drop in here. Huge drop. I wonder if the album is exhausted now?, what I mean is most people who wanted it, got it in the first week.
  15. From digital spy forums Adele has now overtaken Taylor Swifts 'Speak now' as the best selling album so far in the billboard year, which runs from start of December 2010 to end of November 2011 This is the one that determines the offical best selling US album of the year. 1) Adele 1,845,585 2) Taylor 1,842,277
  16. The chart commentary on the homepage has all the info about this :)

I love classic quo. I prefer their seventies bluesy hard rock stuff personally. But some good stuff on this new album. I particularly love this one. 0iTfAxJsX-s

Posters like that puzzle me. They are so quick to critisise others, yet when they get critisised back, they throw their toys out of the pram and flounce out. Entertaining in a weird way though...well sometimes ;)
  25. World sales now over 6 million for 21. !! I wonder if she'll beat Users record of 11.8 million in a year in 2004.
