salute is v repetitive i feel and doesn't have a lot of layers to it - even though sweet melody is repetitive towards the end it has dynamic to it and the runs/belts energy from the girls is just stellar, salute doesn't really go anywhere, it sorta peaks at the first chorus - there's no vocal moments throughout the song and the song literally only has a change in lyrics/structure in the middle verse. Jade and Jesy's Salute verses are literally the chorus.. to see it beat so many strong pop songs like move, dna, black magic, confetti is!!!!

staying in the top 50 after the initial NMF is a v good sign considering its streams increased, hopefully can climb over the coming days. #6 on spotify is SO good, they still won't get #1 but hopefully a new #3 peak is not out of the question

the sample is just the claps from the song so it may not be too obvious, although i just really hope the song is good and gets a push. anne-marie doesn't give me hope but people who have heard it have enjoyed it and it's really hard for Little Mix to.. make a completely hideous song, they always bring it to life somehow. Plus it's obviously meant to launch the album, it's gonna get a big push, hopefully another top 10/5!
