Confetti (feat. Saweetie) • 4th Single
I have a sneaky suspicion that another song was filmed this day when they recorded Confetti, at the end of the video version i can def hear Leigh saying "okay lets do" and then it fades out. If that is the case, I dunno why like at the start of a singles run why couldn't they just pre record all of their acoustic versions and release them periodically?? doesn't seem that hard tbh. (if we get a heartbreak anthem proper acoustic then what I heard was right hehe)

#28 on TTH so we can relentlessly track its progress 🤠

imagine if they bagged another #1 from this hahaha, considering how sweet melody did nothing if off limits now both this and Confetti are still at #15 and #21 on AM's charts, seems to have stalled due to nothing in the top 14 moving... but hopefully Spotify has better results.

Little Mix • Off-Topic Chat
Would be v interesting to see! I think they could, there's an Anne-Marie collab coming and I would expect maybe another DJ collab, as I think they're gonna ride collabs until the pregnancies are done. There's def an album coming as well (considering Jade working on Wasabi 2.0 which wouldn't be collab material IMO but that's just a guess) I also don't think they're ready to stop yet, so an album is the next bet, it'll probs be before the Confetti tour next year, I think they can drain a few more top 10s out of those. GA stans will start on the "oh they weren't all consecutive though!!" but.. who cares lmao

honestly getting over 1m streams daily is so good for them, and it still climbing in the WW spotify charts!

Confetti (feat. Saweetie) • 4th Single
I wonder if they'll add this to the album when the record store day version of Confetti is released which is apparently meant to feature this

This is starting to grow on me a lot more, I still wish there was a bigger moment in the song or that it had a proper middle 8 like No Time for Tears, which is structured a lot better imo. i adore the last chorus though and Jade's little falsetto run of "chasing all of these shadows"

Now if it could have the same chart success as that 👀

I don't see this falling out of the top 10 tbh, it climbed again today on Spotify aaand it's now 16 on Apple Music. There's two Olivia tracks ahead of this, as the week goes on I can see it going ahead of them.

Sweet Melody • 3rd Single
tbh black magic and secret love song are going to probably be their biggest streamed hits in a few years, Black Magic is probably gonna outsell SOTME in the UK within a year or two so I wouldn't be shocked.

Confetti (feat. Saweetie) • 4th Single
I think they will, I can't see Heartbreak Anthem falling out the top 15 tbh unless its Spotify streams just plummet and Confetti is slowly rising again, can easily slide back into the top 15 by Friday if its Spotify streams improve (which they have been!)

Rank the Sugababes Members
Mutya was my fav growing up but I also had a soft spot for Keisha, so I can't choose between them. never really cared for the others in terms of personality, but for voices/preference I would then say Amelle > Jade > Heidi/Siobhan
-
What makes Sugababes so special?
I agree with this, Siobhan's voice in the beginning was a bit uncontrolled and piercing- so that's why I never clicked with One Touch and I still think they weren't that great back then, the Heidi era was what I preferred as that's essentially what I grew up with. To me the Sugababes niche in the industry at the time was their harmonies. Girls Aloud weren't great singers (for the most part) but had a decent sound behind them and also put on a decent number, Spice Girls obviously were the Spice Girls and All Saints, whilst having pretty harmonies never really stood out as vocalists, at this point in the early 00s there was a vocal group missing and Sugababes filled that role perfectly. Not to mention they did the "pop/r&b" sound better than any other group during that era and when they implemented Garage it was just stunning. Keisha was also a strong personality in her own right and she was so enjoyable to watch, despite the nasty rumours. I would really love a follow-up album with just those three, I didn't like Sacred Three at all, I just never clicked w/it but Flatline was v good. In a dream scenario I would like a collab with Little Mix doing a midtempo r&b song where they just play with harmonies and each person's unique tone, that or a massive dance/garage track.

Fallen everywhere on Spotify, expected I guess. Hopefully some playlisting this week can help it climb in Europe.

Rises to #42 in today’s Spotify update! Glad to see it still pushing onwards. Still has a few J Cole tracks head and Olivia’s whole album, which has began to drop.

Jade, Leigh and Perrie often write together though, I genuinely think Jesy's leaving still came as a shock around the Search final/Confetti/Sweet Melody, I think it was Halloween since that's when Jesy had her breakdown and realisation. Jesy was originally on the song, so I imagine it was always planned w/her, just not written by her.

ah, I think Spotifycharts.com is still updating. #147 in France, #35 in Austria, #77 in Canada, #163 in Spain, #121 in Singapore, #188 in Poland, #54 in Estonia. Looking good!!

is it label or spotify who decides the TTH adds? if David said this was getting a US push I can't imagine they wouldn't add it to TTH as that's pretty much the only way to push it on spotify.. some of it's euro positions; #77 in Belgium #35 in Switzerland #73 in Netherlands #26 in Sweden #23 in Norway no sign of it on Brazil, Australia and New Zealand's Top 200 chart though. funnily enough I also can't see it on the German top 200 as well
