Ahh thanks to YouTube I only know Drums Of Death and Eusexua as the same, continuous song called Eusexua (the soundtrack to probably the best music video I've ever seen) That as a single song was going to be in my top 5. But I'm guessing they must be separate tracks on the album, does that mean they can't be considered as a single song for this? (Feel like we had a similar discussion about The Lightning Parts 1 & 2 a couple of years ago)

Ahhh this rate has done it again... just listened to Fat Dog - King Of The Slugs which I'd never heard of before and I love it! Would definitely have got some mid-table points from me if I was resubmitting my scores (and Heartworms would have got a few too, forgot about that song). But since I assume both have zero chance of qualifying, I won't resubmit, will just remember them for next year!

People if you do nothing else when looking at this rate, spend 10 minutes with Klettur (Sigur Ros) and Mother Nature (Raye / Hans Zimmer) - both incredible pieces of music

It might be that - proof of the pudding will be in the semi final and final when only a few remain. Will they attract the same or more votes as last year once there's less in-genre competition

Oh the other good news is Fontaines doing well... hoping that bodes well for (in my opinion) their career best singles that are still to come in the 2024 rate.

Good jumps for Jamie T and 1975 in the lower section, sad to see Wolf fall out of AQ and my nomination of King narrowly missing the AQ section. Phew at Doomscroller hanging on to a semi final, but it continues the theme that this year has fewer indie voters than last year's high water mark. Great result for Djo, the main shock though is that he wasn't in this rate at all last year! By far the worst result (again) is how Guetta's lazy defilement of Blue Da Ba Dee has made the top 5. It would be in my worst 5 records of the decade 😅
