  1. Aw, glancing at everyone's vote lists as they were coming in, I thought One Step Too Far was doing pretty well. Sad to see it fall short, great song.
  2. +18 Labrinth - Never Felt So Alone (Will do my proper vote soon. But honestly, some of the utter dross that's made the cut in place of this little work of art, Buzzjack what's going on?!)
  3. My least favourites left exited at #9 and #8 so I'm pretty happy with the top 7. Would rather have seen JVKE or Olivia in the top 5 instead of Troye Sivan. Trustfall for the win, hopefully by a big distance!
  4. On the face of it, quite a stacked week of releases... In the '00s this would have been a "4 or 5 new entries in the Top 10" type of week. Wonder if we'll get any now in this slow-burn chart era?
  5. The 25-40 section has been brutal for a lot of my faves. U2 and St Elmo's Fire being the latest to fall. Not many of top picks left in, even at this early stage
  6. This forum underrates I'm Just Ken! The fact it finished behind Whistle is a travesty
  7. Boo at the lack of love for Bowie's surprise comeback single. One of my favourite chart events of the last decade.
  8. No sad losses so far, and glad to see some of this year's most abysmal offerings (Guetta, Stay Another Day) go out early

Raye deserves a few awards for sure this year, but I hope Blur pip her to Best Album, for a comeback album after 10 years away it's incredible
  10. Labrinth (please more people vote for that!), Blink, BMTH, Jack Black, Tom Odell, and a couple of others I've forgotten
  11. My +27 managed +0 from everyone else combined (Bon Jovi), second only to Always in my favourite songs of theirs!
  12. Alessandra - Queen Of Kings Jonas Brothers - Waffle House Linkin Park - Lost Olivia Rodrigo - all-american bitch
  13. Awesome winner! Having only voted in the final, I didn't know what the format of the heats was... but yes, if Children had to beat the 1995-1996 #2s to qualify then it deserves to win for that alone!
  14. Take Five and First Of The Gang... were on my longlist. Would like to have seen Beds Are Burning and N95 a bit higher too. As it was, though, the only one in this group that actually made my list was +1 for guilty pleasure Come With Me!
  15. My second favourite Daniel Bedingfield song is gone! But generally not too many sad losses in that last group.

+5 DNA +4 Houdini +3 Stick Season +2 Prada +1 Lose Control -1 Lovin On Me -2 Cruel Summer -3 Murder On The Dancefloor -4 Greedy -5 Water
  17. First of mine to fall - Blackstreet were my +13 so, much like some of my top scorers yet to come, had no other voters! Puppy Love above Paradise City is one of the more surprising results I've ever seen in a rate 😂
  18. Not holding out too much hope for the results - I think 3 of my top 4 picks barely received a vote from anyone else!
  19. 1. BMTH 2. Last Dinner Party 3. Liam Gallagher Were my votes this week
  20. 759 only +5 DNA +4 Houdini +3 Stick Season +2 Prada +1 Lovin On Me -1 Rich Baby Daddy -2 Cruel Summer -3 Murder On The Dancefloor -4 Greedy -5 Water
  21. Thanks, wasn't aware of that nuance in the rules
  22. Sorry for potentially stupid question - why would Riptide be ineligible when e.g. Unwritten is?
  23. Great news about BMTH and Last Dinner Party. I've really got into Last Dinner Party (all 5 songs I can find, at least) this last few weeks. Nothing Matters is perhaps my least favourite of the 5, but still, great to see them get on HH.
  24. This has reminded how As It Was was one of the most annoying and long-lasting resets of all time
  25. I'd guess Escapism and Miracle are +ve and then one of Calm Down or People or Anti Hero
