I was happy that most of my favourites made the top 20, but am pretty nonplussed about what happened next 😂. I've never enjoyed any Ava Max nor Doja Cat song, which I realise puts me out of sync with many Buzzjack voters, and also really surprised Rasputin got as high as top 5. Maneskin and Ewan McVicar would have been my picks by far out of the top 5 we ended up with. Thanks Dan for hosting, enjoyed it as ever.

The success rate of the Sound Of poll at predicting breakthrough artists seemed to be on the wane. Perhaps that's why they loosened the criteria. Now it still has an element of predicting who might blow up this year (e.g. Wet Leg). But with the safety net of including artists who are already a success (e.g. Central Cee). Bit of a cop out in my opinion!

Pleased how well I'm doing - putting a completely random guess of Ke$ha for #4 and it turning out to actually be her was a bonus! Kicking myself a bit for the 2Pac one, not many others. I know Tubthumping the single inside out but have never heard the album version!
