  1. Three bangers in a row gone there, a lot of my favourites starting to fall before we've reached halfway 😢
  2. For the next several songs I'll be able to think nothing other than "this finished above Yes and Karma Police??!" Some moreso than others. Judas a lot!
  3. RMI very much in the Ordinary and Man I Need vein for me, i.e. inexplicably massive for a song that sits somewhere between mildly pleasant, innocuous, and lift music. This seems to be the muscial formula that generates mega-hits in the streaming era. Doesn't bode well for any new Bohemian Rhapsodies.
  4. Well after barely losing any songs in my top 25 until now, that's my +50 and +49 gone in succession 😭 Everything off OK Computer is obviously incredible, but I'm amazed No Surprises is rated so much more favourably on here than Karma Police. I always had Karma Police as the most accessible / generally iconic of all the singles. As for Yes... not surprised by all the +50s, I know a lot of people who knew it from time of release consider it a bit of a masterpiece. Didn't expect it to get super high here, assuming that voters hearing it for the first time would score it mid, but was surprised how many actually scored it really low.
  5. Never knew Stealers Wheel were Scottish! First song to drop out that I'm quite sad about losing.
  6. Amazed how low BTS have entered, I was kind of assuming multiple songs in the Spotify top 10 on day 1

For balance, I've always hated Lush Life but think Midnight Sun is pretty good

Please lord let So Easy and Bruno go next week
  10. Carla's Song is my favourite off the album but I guess tracklisting pretty much dictates chart numbers these days
  11. Anything but Dracula. Honestly, I'd take Rein Me In over Dracula
  12. If the voting had been post Brits, I think Berghain would have been a certainty, but as it is I'm unconfident
  13. Haha yeah I guess it figures that the shows I enjoy are the ones not required to play the playlist
  14. They were playing the last track from the album on R1 this evening

  16. It's won the Buzzjack Reshuffle every time it's been in it, so you're definitely not the only one! I think it's his best song since Sign Of The Times. Haven't heard the new album yet but if he's doing something interesting ala Aperture rather than commercial sounding pop stuff it'll be up my street.
  17. Yes please! Aperture and the new Raye one are the pop highlights of the year so far imo
  18. Hearing #20 and #19 back to back reminded me just how much better RAYE is than Olivia Dean to my ears... but the general public seem to have different ears! Still an absolute farce the performance that sh*t all over both of them, and everything else at the Brits, ie Rosalia, hasn't even threatened the top 40 off the back of it.
  19. Maybe they can only have one slot per "album" so Olivia replaces Arctics? Never listened to 21 Pilots much before but loving Drag Path
  20. If it's got a chance of winning then I hope it is disqualified. So grating, got my -2
  21. Three of your top five are the same as mine... the other two are my +1 and +2... does this mean we have the same taste or not?😅

  24. Oh for goodness sake Buzzjack, Star Guitar not making it either? Probably my most watched music video ever, that or Bad Cover Version

Rosalia has to win any and all categories she's in after the masterpiece that is LUX (but clearly won't) Wolf Alice for once probably shouldn't win anything after their weakest album (but for once probably will win something) The best album and best song categories are really uninspiring this year. Shame Aperture didn't qualify. Even the best international song category has chosen the worst song released by the generally excellent sombr 🙈
