I used to work in HMV (including Sundays) and they always have the same members of staff, so that wouldn't come into it :)

I don't see why they can't release CD albums now on Sundays too? Most if not all HMV's etc open on Sundays and they normally get new releases on the Friday or Saturday before release? It's the same old, being too scared to try new things. (without being forced too)

Don't you think it odd that in the era of shops opening on Sunday's, charts start counting for a new week on a Sunday, downloads are available 24/7 and singles come out on a Sunday. That you still have to wait until the Monday to buy a new album? I think it's about time they changed this. Sunday is already considered one of the busiest days for downloads, surely they are just losing out on extra sales Discuss
