I hope this single does boost the album. I wasn't too keen on Broken Heels myself so not surprised the album took a dip after it.

Yes, I know. It's pretty much the opposite of singles (which in this instance is not available) but I was actually referring to physical sales of the album, according to the people in the office who would know - but they could have taken Saturday sales into the total by mistake I suppose.

In all honesty, I'm surprised she's sold as much as she has of both singles and album. I've seen too few new fans to make an impression. Most of those who didn't like her affectations on XF haven't been turned onto her by song that they may like sung by someone else. She's relying hugely on her XF fanbase but good luck to her. Not many are as lucky as to still have them sticking around a year and a half later. Anyway what she has sold is great by today's standards, particularly singles-wise. Clearly not. Surprised the single is and the album isn't as the album seemed to be shifting a lot quicker than the single on Sunday and yesterday.

Adam isn't performing on Jonathan Ross tonight. He's only being interviewed. Jonathan asked him to sing a couple of lines during the interview which he did (from WWFM) but that's all. He won't actually be promoting WWFM here because he'll be in the middle of his US tour when it is due to be released here in July. Feel free to be as insensitive as you like. None of his fans are surprised at the situation.

I wouldn't normally be surprised as first day sales would have included all the pre-orders so it would have needed some promotion over the past week, which it hasn't had, to keep up any momentum, but I find it strange that as the album has climbed on itunes (from nowhere to be seen by Tuesday up to #27 yesterday) and is in the top 10 and 20 on other download sites, it has dropped down the overall chart.

When you consider the primary reason Once got to #1 and why the album is getting to #1, it's hardly surprising that Once couldn't hang on and that the album is likely to do the same. How dare anyone not like Diana Vickers? :angry: That's like not liking music, beauty, talent and just not liking life. Entry at #20 was pretty much based on pre-orders alone. It's up to 30-something on itunes now. It wasn't even in the itunes top 100 until sometime yesterday so who knows by Sunday? Good news about SEB. Really like that song. I couldn't believe it looked like not making the top 40 at one point.

If what someone on another site who has consistently shown themselves to have some sort of insider knowledge is saying is anything to go by, this looks like not even being in the top 40 which would be a shame. I hope for once they're wrong.

Actually, though its reflective of its itunes position (some stupid fans insisting to others that video sales count for singles chart :rolleyes: ) after the song's 25 place leap on HMV downloads last night and holding its place on other major downloads sites, I'm surprised to see it fall out.

If Patrick Wolf had any of Adam's looks, a minuscule percentage of his voice, a tiny share of his stage presence, a fraction of his personality and a decima of his charisma. Not doing well? Have you seen the album pre-orders? Or the sales of FYE (the single) already as single track download from the album over the past five weeks? I could go on. Please pass me your dictionary. I'd like to check the definition of "resemblance", "not" and "well".

Adam is doing quite a bit better on other download sites than on itunes. The video is being downloaded on itunes far more than the single is and I don't think the EP format is helping at all (though politeness prevents me from saying why I think that), along with the song already having hovered in the top 100 and 75 and just outside the 50 for five weeks which I'd say is also affecting Alex. The combined sales over the past five weeks would have given it a high entry. Also, the release wasn't intended to be digital only and legend has it that physical copies can be found in some stores, though why so limited I don't know. Beautiful picture of Leona by the way.
