Spice Girls - 'Greatest Hits'
For the 30th anniversary next year it would be great for them to release a new greatest hits which would appeal to die hard and casual fans. From a commercial standpoint the 8 unreleased pop tracks from Forever would appeal to a wider audience on different compilation albums rather than anniversary editions of Forever. This would be my track list for a new greatest hits. Disc 2 would include 5 of their best non album tracks along with 5 previously unreleased songs. Disc 1 1. Wannabe 2. Say You'll Be There 3. 2 Become 1 (Single Version) 4. Who Do You Think You Are 5. Mama (Radio Edit) 6. Spice Up Your Life 7. Too Much (Radio Edit) 8. Stop 9. Viva Forever (Radio Edit) 10. Never Give Up On The Good Times 11. Goodbye (Radio Edit) 12. Holler 13. Let Love Lead The Way (Radio Edit) 14. Tell Me Why (Radio Edit) 15. If You Wanna Have Some Fun (Radio Edit) 16. Headlines Disc 2 1. Bumper To Bumper 2. Take Me Home 3. Step To Me 4. Outer Space Girls 5. Walk Of Life 6. W.O.M.A.N. 7. Go Go Go 8. Overnight 9. What You Want 10. Spice Is Back

Spice Girls - 'Forever'
Watch them release the rumored Darkchild version of Woman instead of the pop version.

At this point I wouldn't doubt it if fans have all of the Biff Forever pop produced songs. For the 30th anniversary it would be great if they did something similar to The Beatles anthology series. Https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Beatles_Anthology Anthology 1 could contain material from 1994-1996. This would probably be the best fit to officially release a few of the superior Touch era songs. Anthology 2 could contain material from 1997-2000. This would be a good fit to release some of the best pop outtakes from Forever.

I can see why the Spice elite fans held onto this song for so many years. Definitely one of their better unreleased tracks. The song has a lot of personality and it is super catchy. It's so baffling why songs like this have not been commercially released.

Tina Turner's estate just announced a 40th anniversary box set of Private Dancer. Another example of how to properly do an anniversary edition. There's no reason why the group couldn't have included the full length Instanbul concert on blu-ray with Spice 25 or the live audio concert of Birmingham on Spiceworld 25. Not to mention they won't release any outtakes from the archives. 5CD/Blu-ray - Limited 40th Anniversary Deluxe Edition Box Set. Emma Bunton MegaRate ✨ - WINNER on Page 13 🥳
All I Need To Know makes for a good album track, but not a single. It's not radio friendly. There were much better options for singles. I actually think All I Need To Know is overrated in the Spice community. If it never was a single, I don't think fans would think twice about it.

Emma Bunton - 'My Happy Place'
Mr X you have hit the nail on the head. Emma has never built a live audience. She really should do a ton of festivals and gay pride events to build up her fanbase. Releasing a solid best of compilation would probably do well if she built up her live audience first.

Spice Girls - Chart Runs & Sales Thread: UK
I agree. There's so many different compilation albums they could release to expand their discography. Each compilation album only needs 3 - 5 unreleased tracks for die hard fans to buy them. It's all about finding the right home for their unreleased material. New greatest hits Rarities album Ballad collection Christmas album The group could record 10 - 14 Christmas classics. They wouldn't have to attempt to write and record any original songs if they didn't want to. They could pick a few underrated Christmas songs like George Michael's December Song to record.

Emma Bunton MegaRate ✨ - WINNER on Page 13 🥳
Tomorrow and So Long are chef's kiss. Both shouldn't have been used as b-sides. Tomorrow always sounded very radio friendly. Could have been a single if it was never used as the b-side on Free Me.

Emma Bunton MegaRate ✨ - WINNER on Page 13 🥳
I didn't have time to vote in this rate, but I don't believe Downtown would be ranked as high if it wasn't a single. It's a decent cover but it's nothing spectacular. I do agree with your statement about Emma not really establishing her own audience. It was a huge mistake not doing any kind of tour in the summer of 2004.

Spice Girls - 'Forever'
Holler was always meant to be on the 3rd album. They recorded it during the same month as Woman, August 1999.

Spice Girls • All Released Songs, Rarities and Demos Lists
Likely Stories is a decent song for an anniversary edition of Spice. It's funny one of the girls vetoed this song. It's not even dirty as originally rumored to be. The group has the opportunity to expand their discography, but they choose not to. It's so frustrating.

From Heiðrún Anna's interview I get the sense the record label's A&R and Simon Fuller were looking for potential songs for the group to record for the greatest hits. They all had their own thing going and it wouldn't be possible for all of them to write new material together, which is a shame. It does sound like Simon was pushing for Angels to be the single, but the girls went with Headlines instead. I'm surprised Melanie C recorded Voodoo. That song is easily one of their worst.

I did a little more digging on the songwriters credited on Angels beside the Spice Girls. The producers of the track are French producers Yann Mace and Luc Leroy. They are known together as Trak Invaders. Heiðrún Anna, the other songwriter on the track does have an official Instagram. Maybe someone could ask her for more info on Angels. https://www.instagram.com/heidrunna https://www.discogs.com/artist/384835-Yann-Macé https://www.discogs.com/artist/384837-Luc-Leroy https://www.discogs.com/artist/979004-Trak-Invaders

Spice Girls • All Released Songs, Rarities and Demos Lists
I stumbled upon 3 articles which interviewed Icelandic singer and songwriter Heiðrún Anna. She is one of the songwriters of Angels, a unreleased song from the greatest hits album. She reveals some juicy details about the track. Heiðrún was under contract with Universal Publishing as a songwriter for many years and worked with many well-known artists. For example, Angels was chosen by the Spice Girls and was supposed to be their comeback song. The Spice Girls recorded the song and the album was expected to sell around 5 million copies. Unfortunately, the Spice Girls cancelled at the last minute and the song was not released. "It was a huge disappointment when the song was removed from the album at the last minute. I cried for a whole weekend," Heiðrún Anna says in an interview with Viljinn. "When I think back and listen to the Spice Girls recording of the song, I remember that I didn't think it was nearly as cool as my original. One of the main bites had been taken out that I was actually asked to sort out at the last minute," she adds. "I played my song Angels for Simon at this meeting and he was adamant that this should be the Spice Girls' comeback song," says Heiðrún Anna. "I was just dancing on my way to the bank because he was adamant that it would be a global hit and would sell 5 million copies, and then it just didn't happen - as is often the case in this business." "The meeting actually took a complete u-turn when I played him a song that he thought was quite major and sounded like a possible hit. He got the song and everything started, first he was going to use it for Idol star Jordan Sparks, but then the idea became to use the song on the Spice Girls' comeback album." "Subsequently, I was contacted from Los Angeles, where the Spice Girls were filming, and I was asked to adjust the rhythm of the song. But at the last minute, their old producers came along, with another song in their bag, and mine was pushed out. There were only supposed to be two new songs on the album and mine would have been one of them." Heiðrún Anna admits that it was incredibly frustrating to miss out on this opportunity and was very disappointed for a long time afterwards. "Three months ago, Simon Fuller called me again and asked if the song was still available. I said yes and now he has it at his disposal for six months. We'll see what comes out of it," she says stoically. I used Google translate to read the articles. I was listening to Pain Proof the other day. That song has a meta narrative which is now very common with the current big pop girls like Taylor Swift, Billie Eilish, Olivia Rodrigo.

Love Thing - Using the Instanbul tour version as the single version Never Give Up On The Good Times If You Wanna Have Some Fun Tell Me Why all should have been singles. Based on their Spotify numbers most fans prefer their uptempo singles over their ballads. 2 Become 1 is the only ballad in their top 5 most streamed tracks.

So there's around 15 unreleased songs from Spice and they only released Feed Your Love. Pretty ridiculous they couldn't include 2 or 3 more unreleased tracks for Spice 25.

It will be interesting to see if Melanie C does anything for Beautiful Intentions 20th anniversary. Surly releasing it on vinyl for the first time is a no brainer like Jay said. We'll see if she releases any outtakes from her albums during anniversary releases.

Emma Bunton - 'A Girl Like Me'
I agree Jay. The songs you listed sound juvenile. The Evan Rogers & Carl Sturken songs have aged the worst for me from the debut album. A World Without You A Girl Like Me She Was A Friend Of Mine Merry-Go Round Emma should have recorded more mature material. Emma's voice sounds great on the airy, guitar pop tracks such as What Took You So Long, High On Love and Take My Breath Away.

Spice Girls - 'Spice 25'
It's ridiculous they only released one unreleased song when we know for certain these tracks exist. Pleasin' Me Likely Stories Serial Killer Seven Days Strong Enough Overnight (1995 Demo) Say You'll Be There (Demo With Rap) Sound Off Say You'll Be There (Spiceworld Version) Can't Stay Tonight Move Over (Extended Demo) The Lady Is A Vamp (Extended Demo) Never Give Up On The Good Times (Extended Demo)

Geri Halliwell - 'Passion'
Geri should have stayed on course with the Disco Sister Music album. The album probably would have performed much better had the release schedule been Ride It - Aug 2004 Love Never Loved Me - Nov 2004 3rd Album - Nov 2004 I feel the one, two punch of Ride It and Love Never Loved Me would have set the album up for more success.

The group has only performed 60 tour dates in the last 24 years. This speaks volumes about their commitment to the group. At this point I don't expect anything from them. I don't even really care about them touring. Hopefully one day we get to hear more unreleased songs by someone leaking them.
