  1. Maybe you should practice what you preach and not be deliberately antagonistic. Let's move on, shall we.
  2. There's a huge difference between sales and streaming when talking about a legacy act. You didn't say which one you were referring to. Other members didn't know what you were referring to either. So no, I was not being deliberately antagonistic.
  3. Boosting sales in 2021????????? It's not the 90's anymore. Sales haven't been a thing for quite a few years now. It's all about streaming numbers now. Those are the new sales.
  4. As Posh would say, "Exactly!" It's all about streaming numbers. In order to boost your streaming you have to release new music. Look at what Melanie C's last album did for her streaming numbers. Hence, this is probably why Universal was able to convince the girls to release demos from the archives. Otherwise, they would just release a new album instead. It doesn't seem like we will ever get that 4th studio album, which is a real shame.
  5. Let's be honest, they don't have much of a discography to boost. They have 13 singles and 19 album tracks. It's not like they have a ton of forgotten hit singles they can remind the general public of like Madonna or Janet Jackson.
  6. Here's Melanie C's last album current streaming stats. Who I Am 3,027,031 Blame It On Me (Acoustic) 2,413,193 Blame It On Me 2,007,535 In And Out Of Love 1,847,546 High Heels 1,646,926 Into You 928,753 Overload 871,944 Overload (Todd Terry Remix) 860,335 Fearless 498,642 The rest of the album tracks haven't crossed the 400,000 mark. Emma's recent streaming stats Baby Please Don't Stop 1,408,367 Come Away With Me 613,698
  7. Feed Your Love is currently at 311,643 streams. That is an average of 28,331 streams per day since it was released.
  8. I can't wait until November. I really want to hear Likely Stories. I imagine it's not as dirty as we think due to Feed Your Love not being as risque as it was rumored. I'm so happy Melanie C is now the "b-sides are lovely little demos" girl. I think the 2019 tour really changed things for Melanie. She's been 100% Spice Girls positive ever since.
  9. She's talking about the producer Teddy Riley.
  10. Spice Circle will complain about anything. The main complaint I've heard is that the song is kind of like a solo Mel B song. Mel B has the least amount of solo material so I'm perfectly fine with her having most of the vocals on Feed Your Love. Not to mention Mel B sounds outstanding on the track. Her vocals are like butter. Biff mentioned that if the song had been released back in the day he probably would have added some Mel C adlibs. Honestly, I don't really think the track is Melanie C's cup of tea. I'm not surprised she didn't record any solo lines for the demo. You can tell Mel B and Geri were the main songwriters of the song. It's interesting listening to the demo of 2 Become 1 after Feed Your Love. The song is still great as a demo, but the final production touches really elevate the demo into the iconic song it is today. Who knows what final touches Biff would have done to Feed Your Love had it been released in 1996.
  11. I agree. I highly doubt their team is going to do much until October. Maybe the girls will do some major promotion for Spice 25, but I'm not going to hold my breath. Hopefully we get 4 or 5 never before heard tracks with Spice 25. I'm really curious how many goodies they are going to include.
  12. I had no idea Absolute worked with GEM. Is the Orange fan going to leak this song now that we know about it? Or does he only have connections to get Eliot Kennedy songs?
  13. Still Got It (Without Posh & Sporty) I can't at a GEM song being registered during the 25th anniversary. Too funny!
  14. New unreleased song has been registered. Very intriguing. Still Got It Mel B Emma Geri Absolute https://www.ascap.com/repertory#/ace/search/workID/912293453 Spice Girls or GEM? :P
  15. Feed Your Love is currently at 202,834 streams.
  16. One of my favorites. I need that unreleased Morales remix. If the rumors are true it exists.
  17. Technically yes. They didn't sign with Simon Fuller until May or June 1995. Then they signed with Virgin Records in July or August 1995. Back then it normally took a year for a record label to let a new artist release their debut album. Remember, there is a lot that needs to happen before a new artist can start releasing music. Especially back in 1995.
  18. What is Geri saying in Feed Your Love is the new what is Victoria singing in Holler haha
  19. Feed Your Love, Wannabe and 2 Become 1 were recorded in January 1995. They met Biff at their December 1994 showcase. In March 1995 the girls left their manager. The same month they recorded Say You'll Be There with Eliot Kennedy. The rest is history.
  20. Mel B does sing, "the situation is stretching in front of me." :o Pretty obvious what the song is about. It's a no brainer Feed Your Love should have been the b-side to 2 Become 1. One of These Girls could have been the second b-side on Mama/WDYTYA. I'm really happy we have this track. Mel B's vocals are spectacular. The chorus is infectious.
  21. It would have been nice to have Mel C's adlibs on Feed Your Love, but her absence doesn't make or break the song for me. My only criticism is the song could have been a minute shorter, which Biff admitted himself. That is a easy fix that a fan can do. The song definitely should have been 2 Become 1's b-side. Can't believe this little gem of a song has been locked away for 25 years. Yeah, I have a pretty good feeling we will be getting a few more unreleased tracks this year.
  22. Feed Your Love is pure sex. Mel B's sensual and seductive vocals really shine on the track. I was expecting the verses to be downright filthy, but was pleasantly surprised at how romantic they are. I'm so happy the girls opened the archives. I hope there is more hidden gems to come later in the year.
  23. Feed Your Love is 5:13. Wow! What a treat. The preview here sounds very atmospheric and chill. https://music.apple.com/nz/album/wannabe-25-ep/1573849246
  24. I read about this on Spice Circle and Popjustice as well. This will be a huge hit on social media.
  25. I'm glad we both agree Feed Your Love's streaming numbers do matter. They do mean something. Biff is doing a Instagram live chat on Friday so get your Woman questions ready. :P
