Casual and some die hard fans will not be buying the Wannabe vinyl for one new song. Especially if it is announced on July 8, one day before Feed Your Love is on Spotify. I highly doubt the girls will promote this vinyl beyond social media posts. It's really stupid not to have a pre-order available by now.

Hence the reason why they are putting Feed Your Love on there. Otherwise, it's a pointless release. The track listing for a Wannabe 25 release should have been something like 1. Wannabe 2. Wannabe (Demo) 3. Wannabe (New Remix From A Current A-List Producer) 4. Wannabe (Vocal Slam Radio Edit) 5. Wannabe (Junior Vasquez Radio Edit) 6. Wannabe (Soul Seekerz Radio Edit) 7. Wannabe (Dave Way Alternative Mix)

Spice 25 is where the money is at, not the Wannabe vinyl. I'm not surprised this release has been handled so poorly.

I can't at that Wannabe cassette. Did a first time Microsoft paint user designed it?

I wouldn't be surprised if they announce the pre-order on Tuesday, June 8. Exactly one month before the anniversary. If the vinyl isn't physically being released until July 23, then six weeks is plenty of time for pre-orders.

Obviously it won't be a press conference since I was being sarcastic. I highly doubt the girls care about the Wannabe vinyl release. Why would they waste the hype of all of them together announcing a Wannabe vinyl? They would save that for a 2022 tour announcement.

Naked is one of their best songs in terms of songwriting. Using naked as an analogy for a woman feeling free to express her sexual desires and thoughts is brilliant. Not to mention Melanie C's vocals on the song is a career highlight. Emma invented ASMR with her telephone part. Geri's "She knows exactly what to do with men like YOU" is so powerful. What a song!

It's a holiday weekend in the U.S. They will probably announce the Wannabe vinyl release on Tuesday, June 1.

Who knew Spice Circle had so much power. We're definitely getting Woman now since UMG are taking orders from Spice circle.

I can't wait to hear Geri's rap in Feed Your Love. So excited.

Someone can criticize the vinyl cover and still be grateful for the release. Saying someone is ungrateful just because they criticize the cover is beyond silly.

Step To Me and Strong Enough are also from the Spice sessions. There's also a song called Pleasin' Me registered on HFA Songfile which is rumored to be from Spice. It's another Biffco song.

I totally expected UMG would release the demo version of Wannabe in July. That's a no brainer. I'm really shocked if they release Feed Your Love on a Wannabe vinyl release. I expected UMG to use Feed Your Love to promote Spice 25.

This means Melanie C hasn't made any money from her last album. There's no way she recouped her budget without touring.

If the girls don't want outtakes to be released then they probably don't want demos of album tracks or singles to be released either. If we don't get Feed Your Love and Likely Stories then this 25th anniversary is a bust.

If UMG and the girls management are not colaborating, then I guess that means UMG can release whatever they want from the vault then? So weird they are not collaborating. It doesn't make any sense.

The Prince estate has done an amazing job with the reissue of Purple Rain, 1999 and Sign O' The Times. Would love for the girls and Universal Music Group to go deep in the vaults like the Prince estate has. I will be highly disappointed if we don't get Feed Your Love and Likely Stories. I really hope they focus on the music, highlighting their songwriting talents. A track by track commentary video of the girls, Biffco, Absolute and Eliot Kennedy discussing all of the songs from the Spice era would be a real treat. It would show how they were not a manufactured group. They co-wrote all their songs. This would be great for their legacy.

If Universal Music Group (UMG) doesn't put up a pre-order of Spice by July 8, then we are probably not getting anything this year. :(

Hopefully they announce the pre-order of the Spice reissue on July 8. A tour announcement probably won't happen until October or November, which would be perfect timing with the reissue of Spice.

It's going to be very embarrassing for the girls if they don't milk the fans this year. The Sugababes One Touch anniversary track list is amazing. I hope we get something similar.

Melanie C should not be releasing anything solo this year. Focus on the 25th anniversary of the group.

I know that. I don't see a movie studio or production company investing millions to make a Spice World 2. Spice World's production budget was 25 million dollars. With inflation that would now be around 40 million.

I would rather them use those 2 or 3 months to record a new album than make a unnecessary sequel. A sequel would be too much of a financial risk. Shooting a movie is not cheap.
