They better get Spice World on a streaming platform before the new documentary is released. Would not look good on their part if no one can stream/buy their movie after all the publicity.

For kicks and giggles this would be my rarities album track list if they really are going to include Touch era tracks. Obviously they have to save some unreleased songs for future anniversary editions, hence why I included 5 released songs and a few leaked tracks. Spice Vault 1. We're Gonna Make It Happen 2. Sugar & Spice 3. Do You Think About Me 4. Melody of Life 5. Pleasin' Me 6. Feed Your Love 7. Take Me Home 8. Step To Me 9. Outer Space Girls 10. Walk Of Life 11. W.O.M.A.N. 12. Go Go Go 13. What You Want 14. Spice Is Back

Melanie C • General Discussion
Link to previous thread: http://www.buzzjack.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=60964 ------------------------------ I wonder if Melanie is going to release anything in October of this year to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Northern Star and her solo career. If Melanie was ever going to release some sort of greatest hits, now would be the time. An interesting idea might be for Melanie to pick which 25 songs she thinks are her absolute best in her entire discography regardless if they were a single or album track. Tack on three new songs and now you have a fantastic 28 track compilation album.

Hopefully they release something with the documentary. Even if it's just one song. We're Gonna Make It Happen or Spice Is Back would probably be good choices.

As some of you have mentioned, releasing a rarities album alongside the documentary would be amazing. Though I just don't see it happening.

Last year for Christmas we got the leak of Likely Stories. Fingers crossed we get something this year. Melody of Life or Go Go Go would be my picks.

Spice Girls at Christmas
Goodbye is one of their lowest streaming singles so I'm not surprised they paid the 25th anniversary dust.

There's no way the group is going to release Touch era tracks. They have no writing credits on those songs so they won't make any royalties from them. Releasing Song For Her is never going to happen. More then likely we would get a new greatest hits with a few unreleased songs. Releasing a new greatest hits alongside a documentary would allow them to highlight a few non single tracks as well as a few outtakes that die hard and casual fans would enjoy. This would be my track list for a new GH. 1. Wannabe 2. Say You'll Be There 3. 2 Become 1 (Single Version) 4. Mama (Radio Edit) 5. Who Do You Think You Are 6. Step To Me 7. Spice Up Your Life 8. Too Much (Radio Edit) 9. Stop 10. Viva Forever (Radio Edit) 11. Never Give Up On The Good Times 12. Goodbye 13. Holler 14. Let Love Lead The Way (Radio Edit) 15. If You Wanna Have Some Fun (Radio Edit) 16. W.O.M.A.N. 17. Go Go Go 18. Spice Is Back

I'm curious what is their goal of doing another documentary. The 2007 documentary was a companion piece with the 2007 tour and greatest hits. Would be a shame not to release a new compilation album alongside a Netflix distributed documentary.

The group did the bare minimum for the 25th anniversary. They couldn't even bother having a track by track audio commentary. They really are lucky their reunion tours still have massive appeal to the general public. Othetwise, they wouldn't be able to get away with their lackluster releases and merch.

Forever 25 will only appeal to die hard fans. So the track list needs to be exceptional. As long as that happens I'm confident it will go top 10. The track list needs to do the heavy lifting because I can't imagine the group doing much promo for Forever 25. Hopefully we at least get Woman and Go Go Go.

I wouldn't call going on another reunion tour a comeback, but I get what you mean. Releasing an anniversary edition of an album or a new compilation album would sell better alongside a tour. Spiceworld 25 severely underperformed. I can't imagine Forever doing better unless they include 2-3 unreleased tracks.

If Universal and the group's team really don't get along, then we may as well kiss Forever 25 goodbye. I highly doubt the group cares about celebrating Forever or releasing any of the outtakes.

I wonder what the group's team and Universal don't see eye to eye on. There definitely seems to be a lack of synergy there.

Spice Girls at Christmas
This is what most fans want instead of cheaply made merch. Focusing on the music means they would actually have to put some effort in. Look at the low effort of Spice 25 and Spiceworld 25.
-
Spice Girls at Christmas
The girls probably don't care about pushing Christmas Wrapping since they don't have writing credits on it.

With The Beatles releasing a new song, it does make me wonder how a new Spice Girls song would do if it was properly marketed and promoted.

Spice Girls • All Released Songs, Rarities and Demos Lists
I heard the clip of No Love. It's a really rough sounding demo. The lyrics are trying to be edgy. I hope one of those 3 unreleased Spice tracks is Melody of Life. I don't care if it's a Touch era song. The clips we have are great.

Spice Girls - 'Forever'
The girls don't care about expanding their discography. It's obvious at this point. They know the real money is touring, not recording new material or releasing outtakes.
-
Spice Girls - 'Forever'
They only gave us one unreleased track from Spice when we know there are plenty more outtakes from the album. We will probably get Woman and one more outtake that the girls are fond of and that's it for Forever 25.

Spice 25 vs Spiceworld 25
Wannabe 25 was the best release since it gave us Feed Your Love and the movie version of Wannabe. Spice 25 and Spiceworld 25 are pretty much garbage.

The group has only released 3 songs in the last 23 years. Releasing a one off "single" right before Glastonbury would be a great opportunity to test new music.

Mel B • General Discussion
It's interesting to wonder how Mel B's album would have done if the singles and album release would have gone Feels So Good - February 2001 Hot album - February 2001 Hotter - May 2001 Tell Me - August 2001
