Melanie C - 'Reason'
The Reason era still contains some of her best tracks for me. Love To You, Wonderland, Reason, Living Without You, Home, Here It Comes Again, I Love You Without Trying

Geri Halliwell - 'Passion'
I think Passion could have been somewhat successful with better single choices and release strategy. Ride It - August 2004 Love Never Loved Me - November 2004 Passion album - November 2004 Let Me Love You More - February 2005 Set Me Off - May 2005 Desire and Surrender Your Groove could have been the two new tracks included on a greatest hits album. Both of those tracks were recorded in early 2005. Desire - November 2005 Greatest Hits - November 2005

The Single releases what would you change!?
Spice definitely could have been milked more. Wannabe Say You'll Be There 2 Become 1 Who Do You Think You Are Love Thing (Single Remix)/If U Can't Dance Releasing a double-a side of Love Thing and If U Can't Dance in July 1997 would have let the girls extend their debut album era. They then could have pushed Spiceworld back to March 1998, giving the girls some time off. They still could release Too Much in December 1997 to get their second Christmas #1.

Melanie C - 'This Time'
Already Gone and Fragile are arguably the best tracks from this era and they both were b-sides. Melanie 'B-Sides Are B-Sides For A Reason' Chisholm.

Spice World 2019 Tour • Discussion Thread
Releasing a ballad for the greatest hits was a terrible idea. Especially when you listen to their singles in release order. Four out of five of their last singles are ballads. Viva Forever Goodbye Holler Let Love Lead The Way Headlines

Spice Is Back is just sitting in the archives. Even Melanie C said it was good.

The Single releases what would you change!?
I'll focus on Melanie C first since I think half of the time she picks the wrong singles. Northern Star Go - perfect lead single and much more radio friendly than Goin Down Northern Star Never Be The Same Again I Turn To You Closer Reason Yeah Yeah Yeah Love To You Positively Somewhere Beautiful Intentionsb Next Best Superstar You'll Get Yours This Timeb Carolyna Already Gone Understand The Sea Think About It Drown Version of Me Anymore Room For Love Blame Melanie C Who I Am Into You Nowhere To Run Blame It On Me

Emma Bunton - 'Life in Mono'
Secrets Ladylike Crazy In Another Life Crazy Beautiful Midnight & Martinis all should have made the album instead of some tracks that did
-
Spice Girls - 'Forever'
Tell Me Why is the only good track they recorded in 2000. The other three songs sound so generic and half baked. They pretty much sound like new material to pad out a greatest hits album than to put on a proper 3rd album.
-
Emma Bunton - 'Free Me'
Free Me is an amazing album, but ultimately it didn't do much for her solo career in the long run. Not touring in the summer of 2004 was a huge mistake.

Spotify: Most streamed Solo Spice songs
Pretty surprised Dear Life has 1.1 million streams.

Spice Girls - 'Forever'
If the album couldn't be mixed and mastered in time for a November/December 1999 release then they should have at least released the first single in November 1999. This would have built anticipation for the release of Forever in late February/early March 2000. As of right now my single choices would have been Go Go Go If You Wanna Have Some Fun - lead album single Holler Treasure, Overnight or Oxygen - whichever is the best ballad. Let Love Lead The Way and A Day In Your Life are not single worthy to me.

Spice Girls - 'Forever'
I agree with everything you said here. 1999 was a huge shift in pop music. It would have been interesting to see how If You Wanna Have Some Fun or Woman as the lead single would have done in late 1999/early 2000. Holler would have been a great 3rd or 4th single to keep the album campaign fresh. Having Holler as the lead single was too much of a shift in sound in my opinion. They should have led with a more pop sounding song.

Melanie C - 'The Night'
Walk Away should have been on The Sea. Great song

Spice Girls - 'Forever'
They started recording Spiceworld in the beginning of June and the album was released 5 months later in November. Which means Forever could have came out in January 2000 since recording sessions started in the beginning of August 1999. More then likely they could have made a mid December 1999 release date just in time to get those Christmas sales.

Spice Girls - 'Forever'
I find it hard to believe the girls went into the studio in November 1998 to record tracks for a 3rd album. Maybe to record My Strongest Suit with Biff as he is the one who produced it.

Spice Girls • All Released Songs, Rarities and Demos Lists
Releasing a rarities album alongside a tour announcement is such a no brainer. A solid, well crafted rarities album would almost act as a 4th album for them.

Spice Girls • All Released Songs, Rarities and Demos Lists
That article is trash. Sounds like a PR intern for the girls wrote it. At this point it's ridiculous the girls are sitting on these unreleased tracks. Fans are selling and trading them. They will eventually see the light of day so why not take back control and officially release them.

Go Go Go sounds fantastic. Can't wait for the day we get to hear the full track in all its glory.

Spice Girls • All Released Songs, Rarities and Demos Lists
I know it will never happen, but it would be interesting if they released an alternative version of Forever that only included tracks recorded in 1999. I feel this would garner more media attention than an anniversary edition of Forever. Forever 1999 1. Right Back At Ya (Pop Version) 2. W.O.M.A.N. 3. Overnight 4. If You Wanna Have Some Fun 5. Holler 6. Treasure 7. What You Want 8. Go Go Go 9. Pain Proof 10. Let Love Lead The Way 11. Goodbye

A rarities album might do well in November alongside a tour announcement. I'll believe it when I see it though.

I don't remember. Feed Your Love was registered years before Spice 25 though.

Spice Girls • All Released Songs, Rarities and Demos Lists
The girls have at least 10- 14 useable unreleased tracks. They should have released these songs over the course of the next ten years on different releases. The girls should have planned the next ten years out. At some point the girls will have to say farewell. I don't see them touring in their 60's. July 2021 - Rarities album 2023 - 25th anniversary world tour November 2026 - 30th anniversary edition of Spice November 2027 - 30th anniversary edition of Spiceworld 2028/2029 - Farewell world tour 2030 - 30th anniversary edition of Forever

Very interesting that Biff songs are now leaking. You would think Biff would have these songs under lock and key. Especially after what happened to Elliot Kennedy.
