Spice Girls - Album Tracks, Bsides & Others RATE - RESULTS FROM PAGE 3!!
Now we’re getting to the cream of the crop. Walk Of Life is so different from anything in their catalogue. It’s a shame more people don’t know about this song. It still hasn’t reached a million streams on Spotify. Step To Me is classic Spice Girls. I remember watching their Instanbul concert on Fox Kids in early 1998 and got so excited to hear a brand new song from them. I was always disappointed this wasn’t on Spice or Spiceworld as a kid living in the U.S. Oxygen is probably their most underrated song within the die hard fan base. I’ve always thought this was the best ballad on Forever. It sits perfectly next to the rest of their classic ballads. Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis did such a great job with maturing their sound, but still keeping the music pop friendly. I would love for Oxygen to get its flowers on the next tour.

I agree with you Mr X. Mama should have been saved for Spiceworld. Sonically it would fit better on that album as it is so poppy and saccharine compared to the rest of Spice. Take Me Home or Step To Me should have taken Mama’s spot on the album.

The only song on Spiceworld that should have been a b-side is The Lady Is A Vamp.

I’m glad My Strongest Suit was not released as a single. It’s not aged well. It’s definitely not on the same caliber as their previous singles. Bumper To Bumper deserves more love. It has everything that a Spice Girls song should have. It’s fun and chaotic. I wonder how many U.S. fans know about their b-sides? I didn’t discover them until the mid 2000’s due to them not being widely commercially available.

Melody of Life is my favorite leaked track. It’s insanely catchy and has so much personality. I’m still shocked this is not a Spice era song. Out of all the Touch era songs, this one deserves the most to be released on an anthology collection. Give You What You Want is my second favorite leaked song. Yeah, the lyrics are a bit lackluster, but the song is catchy. I absolutely love the vocals on this track. Mel C’s bridge section is pop gold.

Geri’s rap isn’t terrible in Feed Your Love but it’s kind of hard to make out what she’s saying. I wonder if a 3 minute ballad edit would elevate the song. Intro Chorus Verse 1 Chorus Verse 2 Chorus Outro

Sugar & Spice falls into the same category as Likely Stories. It’s a cute demo which would be great for a compilation album if properly mixed and mastered. These are probably the type of songs casual fans want from the group. It’s kind of silly the group hasn’t officially released these to expand their discography and give their fan base something new to listen to. Feed Your Love is great. Mel B’s vocals are like butter on the track. The outro is beautiful. I really wish they would release an edit of the song though. The last two minutes kind of just plod along. Outer Space Girls doesn’t deserve to be this low, but I do think it’s vastly overrated within the online die hard Spice community.

1999 Lead Single Decisions
They should have released the best pop track they recorded as the first single in November 1999. Then release Holler as the 2nd/lead single in February 2000. Nov 99: Best pop track Feb 00: Holler & Forever album May 00: Let Love Lead The Way Aug 00: If You Wanna Have Some Fun Melanie C could have released Northern Star between November 2000 and February 2001. That album still would have sounded fresh.

Sleigh Ride would probably do better on streaming with the version which doesn’t have them talking over the track. Universal should be promoting that version on their playlists. Voodoo should have remained in the archives. Still can’t believe the group and the record label approved this release. I wonder how Headlines would have done in this rate. Yes, it was technically a single, but the group themselves don’t really treat it as such. Likely Stories has the potential to be a strong promotional song on a future anthology collection or Spice anniversary edition. It’s fun, sassy and every group member has distinct vocals on the track. The vocals and production need to be improved though. I could hear Sabrina Carpenter singing this song. Song For Her is total cringe. Their worst song along with Voodoo and Spice Invaders. One Of These Girls is fine. Something about this song has always bugged me. Something in the production just irritates me. Can’t put my finger on it. Strong Enough would be better if it was sung from the first perspective and not the third. I am strong enough is more empowering than are you strong enough. Strong Enough has potential to be a decent song if the lyrics were cleaned up a bit.

Spice Girls & Solo - Expectations and Wants for 2026
It would be great if they released some sort of anthology collection alongside the Netflix documentary. Give the fans a few crumbs of unreleased songs like Woman, Sound Off and the movie version of Say You’ll Be There

Spice Girls - 'Greatest Hits'
For the most part they got the track list correct. I wish they would have released Spice Is Back and Angels as part of the era. Fans and the general public wanted a uptempo comeback single. Hopefully we get to hear Spice Is Back one day and see if it should have been the single instead of Headlines. Voodoo should have been a b-side.

Spice Girls - 'Forever'
The live album which was planned for a November 1998 release should have been released on Spiceworld 25. I highly doubt the group would approve it to be commercially released as its own separate thing. A live Spice Girls album from 1998 is not going to chart well in 2025.

What a joke!

Spice Girls • General Discussion
I’m hoping there is no Forever 25 because they are saving the best outtakes for an anthology or new greatest hits release next summer. Fingers crossed especially if the rule of 4 now exists for future releases and projects.

Melanie C - World Tour 2026
It will be interesting to see what the set list will be. Hopefully she includes some of her more upbeat material from her previous albums.

Spice Girls - 'Forever'
I get Madonna fans want the full unedited versions of demos, but at least they are getting something. From a commercial and legacy standpoint it is better to remix and edit outtakes when they are officially being added to an artist’s discography. This way they are not just a bunch of old, crappy demos. They are more polished and can stand next to the rest of their catalogue.

Spice Girls - 'Forever'
I think the lackluster performance and reception to Headlines and Voodoo left a bad taste in their mouth when it comes to releasing any new material. The reception to Feed Your Love was better, but not great. The track would have more replay value if it was trimmed down to 3 minutes. The last 2 minutes of the song go absolutely no where besides the beautiful outro. I also wonder if the group and Universal were expecting Spice 25 to sell better. It is kind of odd how low-key Spiceworld 25 was.

Spice Girls - 'Forever'
Madonna is releasing an anniversary EP to Bedtime Stories which includes 2 previously unreleased songs, demos and remixes. What is interesting about this release is she had Stuart Price remix and edit these outtakes. It’s too bad the group can’t do something similar with their outtakes. Have Biff remix and edit the unreleased songs to make them sound more polished. Feed Your Love could have definitely used an edit. https://www.billboard.com/music/pop/madonna-bedtime-stories-untold-chapter-reissue-demos-rarities-1236085260/

Watch them release their cover of Too Hot as the new track for the anniversary release.
-
Spice Girls - 'Forever'
There’s more money to be made from an anthology release than an anniversary edition of Forever. That’s why I can see them include a few decent outtakes from Forever on an anthology compilation album to entice die hard fans to buy it.
-
Spice Girls - 'Forever'
Wanna bet they save Woman for a 30th anniversary anthology release. They can make more money off of die hard fans with an expensive anthology release rather than Forever 25.

Spice Girls - 'Forever'
We will be lucky to get something along the lines of this for a digital only release. 1. Holler (Lostboy Remix) 2. W.O.M.A.N. 3. Right Back At Ya (Demo) 4. Christmas Wrapping 5. Tell Me Why (Radio Edit) 6. If You Wanna Have Some Fun (Radio Edit) 7. Holler (MAW Remix) 8. Tell Me Why (Thunderpuss Remix) 9. Goodbye (Orchestral Version) 10. Tell Me Why (Jonathan Peters Remix)

Spice Girls - 'Forever'
I have a feeling Forever 25 will be a digital only release. They will give us Woman and maybe the Lostboy remix of Holler.

The Spice Girls 'singles that got away'
Goin' Down's Spotify plays kind of prove it shouldn't have been a single. It hasn't crossed the million mark yet while other songs such as Dear Life, If That Were Me and On The Horizon has. Go would have made for a better lead single. It's much more radio friendly and also works as a statement of leaving the group.
