  1. OMG I almost spit out my coffee reading this
  2. Step To Me only achieved 110,000 streams in its first week. It should have found a home on the greatest hits album, not this lazy anniversary edition of SW.
  3. I probably would have released these as singles after It's Raining Men Strength of a Woman Circles Round The Moon Don't Call Me Baby
  4. Scream If You Wanna Go Faster sounds more like a Pink or Avril Lavigne single from 2002. Geri was always going to have a hard time getting hits past 2001 when RnB and hip-hop started to dominate top 40. Pretty much all of the ballads and mid tempos on this album are excellent. The up-tempo songs are the weakest part of the album.
  5. Yep, these same fans have had Melody of Life and Sugar And Spice for years. They also have the full rap version of Say You'll Be There. We're the entitled ones though for wanting unreleased songs that Biff has teased for an decade.
  6. It's obvious why many fans expect them to release unreleased songs. You have Biff dangling them in front of fans for years. Yes, the girls can't control his actions, but it seems they are the closest to him out of all their producers. It sends mixed messages to the fans. Blaming fans for having expectations is lame. Remember folks, don't ask questions. Just consume product and then get excited for the next product.
  7. This release is getting backlash on every pop forum that I've seen. They would have been better off not doing SW 25 at all. It's baffling how poorly the 25th anniversary editions have been handled. Especially when you compare them to Michael Jackson, Fleetwood Mac, Mariah Carey, Metallica, etc. These poor anniversary editions play into the misconception that they were a manufactured group who didn't write their own music. A group that only cared about selling merchandise.
  8. Wow! This is pretty awful. Don't think SW 25 is going to sell very well. Rightfully so. Not even including Sound Off or Say You'll Be There (Spice World Version) is a choice.
  9. I agree, I just don't see a Forever 25 happening. Geri has nothing to do with that era. Melanie C was dealing with her mental health issues at that time. I don't see her celebrating Forever. A b-side/rarities album released at the end of June along side their Glastonbury performance would probably sell well. I believe you have suggested this before Equinox8.
  10. Spice Circle is a joke. The guy who had a hand in leaking Geri's Man On the Mountain album gave Melanie C that fan made coffee table book with copyrighted images.
  11. Exactly! Can't like this post enough. The girls know what we wanted and decided not to give it to us. SW 25 is going to flop unless they throw Woman on the track list haha
  12. If the girls truly don't have much to offer on these anniversary editions, then they should have released a b-sides album with a few unreleased tracks on it. I feel this type of release would have pleased the fans more than what they are currently doing. 1. Wannabe (Demo) 2. Feed Your Love 3. Bumper To Bumper 4. Take Me Home 5. One Of These Girls 6. Baby Come Round 7. Step To Me 8. Say You'll Be There (Spice World Version) 9. Walk Of Life 10. Outer Space Girls 11. My Strongest Suit 12. W.O.M.A.N. 13. Go Go Go 14. Spice Is Back
  13. Victoria would be a fool not to do it. Imagine if she didn't take part in the Olympics ceremony. It wouldn't have been the same.
  14. The girls deserve much more credit for their songwriting. Sadly, I don't think they will ever get that credit.
  15. I'll buy the book soon. I'm most interested in 1998-2003. Can't wait to read what Melanie reveals about that time period.
  16. We should. Need to find out if he's on social media. Also, I forgot to mention he says his recording session with the girls was roughly two weeks before they signed with Simon Fuller. If I remember right they signed with Fuller in July 1995.
  17. No, he didn't say what the other song title was. Nothing else is registered on publishing sites.
  18. I posted this in the general discussion topic, but it's more relevant in this thread. Songwriter Sheppard Solomon recently was on a music podcast. He revealed the unreleased track Seven Days is from Spice. Solomon said him and Mark Taylor (songwriter and producer of Cher's Believe) wrote two songs with the girls. He also goes into detail about meeting the girls for the first time and how wild they were. Starts at the 15 minute mark. https://open.spotify.com/episode/2lEq0TuIS9...ource=copy-link
  19. More confirmed unreleased songs we'll never get to hear. In retrospect, Spice 25 was a major disappointment. Imagine if we would have got Feed Your Love Likely Stories Overnight Serial Killer Seven Days
  20. I doubt we will ever get to hear Seven Days and the other song Sheppard Solomon and Mark Taylor recorded with the girls. It sucks that there is plenty of unreleased tracks from Spice and the girls only released Feed Your Love. In that interview Solomon said the songs he did with them were rnb.

  22. Complaining about Melanie C being the stumbling block for group things that never happened is funny to me. Fans acting like Melanie C's solo career stopped a 4th group album from happening is ridiculous. Once releasing new music wasn't financially viable anymore, the other 4 girls quit. Melanie C has continued to release solo albums regardless if they are commercially successful.
  23. Thanks for the update Jay. I'm surprised the streaming numbers for disc 2 of Spice 25 is so low.
  24. Where is Step To Me? Today is the 25th anniversary.
  25. Yeah, that fan interview is cringe worthy. I understand fans want information on unreleased tracks. However, they should realize Melanie probably hasn't thought about these songs since the day they were recorded.
