Hoping Tears For Fears gets number 1, its a really good album and would be well deserved!

Theres no doubting Amazon becomes bigger year by year but those figures make no sense, c'mon Mariah!

Despite never having a Top 10 single amongst their many hits (a record when everything was physically released) ACDC have always sold mega buckets on the album chart, never underestimate them...and yes they sell better elsewhere than here in the UK

ACDC will be huge. McFly have been well and truly supported by Radio 2 over the last month or two, coupled with the ITV Documentary they may well surprise

Didn't whoever made the chart rules up back in the day do exactly this though. As I recall The Cure released something like 21 formats of the Pictures Of You single, many other artists did something similar also but I always remember this being citied as the reason why no more than 5 formats would count to the singles charts from then on, later reduced to 4. Always makes me smile the gloves are off again nowadays..and good luck to whoever makes number 1

Go over to Captain Sensibles facebook page..the Damned were number 1 yesterday. By his own admission, knew it wouldnt last and they will probably not chart at all but the screenshot of the charts he shares includes all sales figures as of yesterday, very interesting
