  1. Wasn’t “Sweet Dreams My LA Ex” written for Britney Spears as an answer track to “Cry Me a River”?

So the only single to date denied a peak of #1 because of the ACR rule is “All I Want for Christmas Is You”!!

It would be interesting to see a full list of what would have been number 1 each week without ACR

Both Secret Love and I Believe got every position but #9
  5. I’m not sure Frank Skinner should be included here because “Baddiel & Skinner” are a chart act IMO - so he cannot he treated as a solo act. Otherwise individuals who participate within groups could be included - not just Ian Broudie but John Craven who was 74 when the Children in Need “Wake Me Up” song reached #1

The record may well be beaten this week, but does anyone know who the oldest artist to reach #1 is?
  7. Any chance of any Prodigy songs charting come Friday?
  8. They should have played the songs in chronological order
  9. There hasn’t been a proper Xmas number one since Al Martino IMO

I loved John Lennon's "God" from the Plastic Ono Band album - but it never charted
  11. Are the '96 and '98 versions of Three Lions going to be combined in the chart? If not why are their sales combined the all-time Million Sellers chart?
  12. All About You / Dakota in 2005?
  13. First #1 to return to #1 after being out of the charts since It's Now Or Never in 2005?

The Day We Fell in Love
  15. Oops...mixed up Afroman and Kylie - fixed it now. Goodbye only spent 1 week at #1, so not enough time to make the Top 100!
  16. Thanks guys! The reason I ask is I'm home with the flu today so to pass the time I've been complying a "sales at #1" Top 100. It's very rudimentary, but this is what it looks like...as you can see God's Plan has made it. 17. Hi everyone Does anyone know where I might find the weekly sales (or estimates) for each #1 from 1990 to 1994 (and longer shot) before 1980? Thanks :)

What would happen if two songs entered the chart with exactly the same "sales"? How do they decide a tie for new entries?
  20. The Beatles - Free As a Bird / Real Love
  21. Any entries for The Fall?
  22. Everyone should just download Someone Like You anyway for lolllllz
  23. I wonder what will eventually replace streaming?
  24. Mary Tyler Moore has died - so maybe an entry for Buddy Holly by Weezer :P
  25. It's going be a two way battle between Salena and Danyl I think....
