  4. Let's get it to #1 ;)
  5. And I hope How Does It Feel makes an appearance in the top 1500....now THAT would be a great X Factor Winner's Single!
  6. He actually rhymed motorcycle with Michael...brilliant

Does anyone know which act has sold the most singles without ever reaching #1? Thanks!
  8. Well there's one act that beat Oasis with 27 (if you include re-releases, but not digital re-entries)........
  9. Or The Jam with 18?
  10. What about Blondie? 17 top 40 hits.
  11. Does this have a chance to go Top 40? http://www.facebook.com/pages/Get-Sex-Pist...lweddingboredom
  12. I've seen threads discussing the biggest selling single to miss the Top 10, Top 20 etc, but what do people think the biggest seller never to have had any kind of chart position (not even in the T200) is? My guess would be "She's Electric".
  13. Man in the Mirror could have been the 1100th Number 1!

So 9 records (10 if we count Fairytale of New York - which I very much doubt), have already reached 1 million since the BBC Chart in August 2010. Surely the rate is only going to increase with a steady stream of downloads pushing a fair few contenders over the line. How long do people think it will take to get 150 or 200 million sellers?
  15. Has Someone Like You passed I Gotta Feeling yet? Must be nearly in the all-time top 50 now!

What about Never Ever by All Saints? Sold a hell of alot before reaching Number 1, but just about beat Bamboogie with much lower sales in the New Year 1998
  18. Interesting to see what would have been the Christmas Number 1 since 2005 in a parallel, X-Factor-less universe: 2005: THE JCB SONG, Nizlopi 2006: PATIENCE, Take That 2007: WHAT A WONDERFUL WORLD, Eva Cassidy / Katie Melua 2008: IF I WERE A BOY, Beyonce 2009: BAD ROMANCE, Lady Gaga 2010: WHAT'S MY NAME, Rihanna / Drake
  19. So the next question is: where would it be charting? I guess around 20 atm?
  20. This has probably been answered elsewhere, but why is Paradise ineligible for the charts?
