The Gallup Years- Top 10 Sales- 1989
I wouldn't have known It's Alright was a cover. It's not a bad song, but so laid-back. Not one of my fave PSB tracks. London Nights is pretty good. Not hugely bothered by the new Queen song.

I Don't Wanna Live Forever now, I think.

Streaming Services Chart Discussion; W/C 25/04/25
When I first heard the new Lorde track on R1, I thought it was good, but it didn't matter how much they bigged it up or how good it was as it would just not do that well anyway. Three days Top 20 on Spotify is not what I expected. Azizam nearly back to 200k. Hope the warm weather this week helps it improve as it's such a summer song.

The Gallup Years- Top 10 Sales- 1989
Not fussed by those new ones this week. But that Soul II Soul vs TOTP story is new to me and quite a surprise. I'm sure there has been quite a few dodgy live vocals on the programme (if not in the 80s, then there definitely ended up being some in the 90s). Good on the group for taking a stand though.

Deadmau5. I don't really remember it.

Benson Boone - Mystical Magical
Yeah, this is pretty good. But I much prefer Sorry I'm Here... Be interesting to see how this goes chart-wise.

Least favourite Lady Gaga 2nd single ● ROUND 4
Always Remember Us This Way Again. I think it has a realistic chance of going this time.

The Gallup Years- Top 10 Sales- 1989
All I Want Is You is excellent. Brilliant U2 track Just reminded myself of Batdance and it's just a bit of a mess. Back to Life is a bit mid for me. Not bad, but not great.

Addison Rae - Addison
They mentioned this on Radio 1 this morning and the "first and last album" thing. Has the reason for that been explained at all?

Bedtime Stories ● Survivor Round 4
I think... Inside of Me now.

Chart Battle Rewind: Oasis vs Rihanna
Urgh.. Struggled to bother voting on this one as not a fan of either act. Went for Rihanna.

The Gallup Years- Top 10 Sales- 1989
Cyndi Lauper deserved much more success in the UK than she got. Her version of I Drove All Night is great stuff.

Song Covers SoundClash #36
Ellie Goulding. Love Blue as a group, but this collab was not my cup of tea

JADE - THAT'S SHOWBIZ BABY! • 1st Album
I guess the album needs to be out before festivals but the vinyls won't be ready by then so will come later. More evidence that they don't really care anymore. Forget You For Now (not the explicit version) could have made a better second single, with IT Girl as the third. Album pre-order with second single. Album release with third. Fantasy missed the mark and Midnight Cowboy was not needed at all apart from as an album track.

The Gallup Years- Top 10 Sales- 1989
What a dire top 3. I liked a good few of Jason Donovan's singles, but Sealed With A Kiss is rubbish.

Chart Battle Rewind: Sonique vs S Club 7
1,000% S Club. Such a tune!!

The Gallup Years- Top 10 Sales- 1989
Express Yourself... One of Madonna's best ever singles. The video is awesome and the performance on Blond Ambition was brilliant. Deserves to go much higher. I was a big Prisoner Cell Block H fan and was thrilled the theme got released and was a hit

Heartstopper
I am pleased they are bringing it back to finish it off, as I had feared they might have just stopped after S3. A movie, I guess, will be in line with around 3 or 4 episodes, so around half of what we usually get. Hasn't each series covered more than one book each? Which would suggest why the final book is cut down to a movie.
