That was a good ending for Sonia and Bianca. Not convinced the very short return of Rocky was needed, but it was a tiny flare or excitement amongst it. Julia's Theme being used quite regularly there days

My 15 year old son went to watch it. Don't think he was very impressed. Everyone shouted Chicken Jockey, but there was no food throwing thankfully. I see the trends on TikTok and it seems so unnecessary. Like, what about the people who don't want to be involved, who get hit by flying drinks, who have the movie stopped because of it And those who have to clean up afterwards. I may sounds very old here.
  3. I went Biggie. It was nearly Arctics, but I just think I would enjoy Nasty Girl more if it was on the radio.
  4. Surprised, but pleased, that they have made a lyric video. Guessing it was shot a while ago. I think maybe a fifth potential week in the Top 100 deserves an extra (half-hearted) push.
  5. You are so right. Sorry I'm Here... could easily have been a 1D song. I'm wondering about how @JosephBoone might react to this idea 🤔
  6. This has to be a contender for Post of the Year. I guess if Ordinary was playing in a pub, someone might have said to someone else "I like this song" And then the other person replied "Have you heard the wedding version, it's better?"
  7. I always feel like Vogue should be her biggest, but pretty certain it's not that close. 4 Minutes was pretty huge as well. I always find Madonna's singles sales quite underwhelming for who she is.
  8. Going for Jaimeson as a totally forgotten track
  9. Switching to Avril now.
  10. Groove Armada have to go this time, surely?
  11. Oh wow. Quick decline for single and album then.

And why was Harvey - a cab driver - sitting there on the phone saying there were no cabs. Bad management to have to turn away business because one of your drivers is answering the phone.
  13. That's a rubbish week for new entries. Madonna falling 3-8, looking at a fast decline from the top spot. I believe she held on to the albums for a second week, holding off Simply Red a No.2?
  14. According to Wiki, Like a Prayer album sold 1.2 mil in UK against True Blue having done 2 mil, so it was a drop in returns for her. But True Blue was Madonna-Mania for a real pop album, whereas LAP is a bit more mature-sounding. Madonna albums were released quite quickly off the back of the lead for LAP and Erotica, Bedtime Stories and Ray of Light. Within a month.
  15. The start of my Madonna fandom included the VHS copy of this tour and I watched it a lot lot lot of times.
  16. I love McFly and Mr Brightside is my fave song ever. That cover is dire though. Voted I Got Soul
  17. Sorry I'm Here... really does need to keep climbing. It actually deserves Top 10 (but let's get Top 20 first)
  18. Cruel Summer is probably Bananarama's best single. Not sure what I think of this though.
  19. I think they were expecting it to be a second Top 10, or at least Top 20. Big enough to launch the album off the back of it. The clean version is very commercial pop that wouldn't be out of place on Ariana's latest album.
  20. I'm always surprised to see this holding on on the midweeks, but glad it hasn't just nose-dived and disappeared. I think the lack of remixes etc may just be giving up on it as I don't think it quite did what the label thought it would.
  21. I kinda didn't want to go for Cascada, but To The Moon sounds like he falls over the lyrics against the tempo at times.
  22. Love Machine for me here.
  23. Dare I say I prefer Atomic Kitten's cover of Eternal Flame. Love Baby I Don't Care. Americanos is better than Love Train. Simply Red are one of my least favourite bands.
  24. Literally never heard of him before the Kylie collab. Sure he might be huge as a DJ, same as Joel Corry may well be. But my post was about how well a Kylie collab with Joel would do chartwise and, as has already been pointed out, his discography on Wiki shows how well that's gone.
  25. I would be genuinely surprised if an album announcement still came. If it was imminent then she would still be teasing. When someone goes quiet, it's usually silence speaking a thousand words.
