  1. Dare I say I prefer Atomic Kitten's cover of Eternal Flame. Love Baby I Don't Care. Americanos is better than Love Train. Simply Red are one of my least favourite bands.
  2. Literally never heard of him before the Kylie collab. Sure he might be huge as a DJ, same as Joel Corry may well be. But my post was about how well a Kylie collab with Joel would do chartwise and, as has already been pointed out, his discography on Wiki shows how well that's gone.
  3. I would be genuinely surprised if an album announcement still came. If it was imminent then she would still be teasing. When someone goes quiet, it's usually silence speaking a thousand words.

After a pretty boring week in EastEnders, it's good to look back and see hoe great it can be (apart from Reiss).
  5. Steps, of course. It's probably better than the original.
  6. Don'y remember Jaimeson at all, but surely we need to vote D***y out first (regardless of Christina being on it).
  7. A few years ago, a collaboration with Joel Corry would have been at least Top 30, if not Top 20 or 10. These days it will be barely any different to having the one with that Alok guy. But it would still be good to hear it at some point.
  8. Slow and steady climb. Though I am higher with less posts this week.
  9. The Climb. Whereas I understand people were fed up with X Factor dominating the Christmas No.1, Joe still made the top spot a week later.
  10. We Can't Be Friends is 100% my fave Ariana song. I listened to it loads whilst it was charting and still seek it out to listen to now and again.
  11. Sticking with Groove Armada
  12. Parents remortgaging their house for a #173 peak with an flipping awful song. I hope, as sisters, they are still in touch with each other. That photo of Madonna is pretty stunning. Kon Kan isn't a bad song, but it took too long to get to the chorus.
  13. I had to listen to both as well, but then voted Stooshe
  14. Like a Prayer!!!! I remember all the controversy. I remember taping the commercial and watching it many times - it's a brilliant couple of minutes of TV. I remember Madonna being absolutely HUGE!!! Straight Up and This Time I Know It's For Real are also great new tracks.
  15. Nice to see this still Top 100 for a fourth week. Thinking it's radio support is probably what's keeping it alive. It kinda fell off my radar a bit.

Ooh, none of those songs are that good. I went for Callum Hood.
  17. I always liked Big Boys Don't Cry by Lolly. Only found out recently she did a cover of Girls... which is faithful to the original and not too shabby.
  18. Atomic Kitten. But just because I think Beyonce is overrated.

This. From 15 weeks at No.1 to barely making the Top 10. But Ed is a flop because he is "only" debuting Top 3. 🙄
  20. Glad to see Ed back in the Top 10. We do write songs off as flops very quickly on here sometimes, usually based on trends from years ago, even though things are quite different now than they were. If it drops back out the Top 10, he could always do a "wedding version" with it slowed down and just him on his guitar. It could happen. Good to see Miley on the climb (pun intended) as well, as that song is far too good to be overlooked.
  21. I was going to pass on this one as I wasn't familiar even with the original of the second choice. Few seconds listen of each though and Glee wins it.
  22. It doesn't quite have the effect now that it used to, but at the time of release I stated that it was my fave ever song. It isn't anymore, but it's still a brilliant song (but all the tracks left here are really good now)
  23. I've watched this several times since buying the DVD and must watch it again. I did look to buying the book but a read of the online preview suggests it is very different from the movie.

Not up to date with EastEnders at the mo, but watched the funeral episode last night and thought it was nowhere near what they could have made it. Stacey turning up drunk was actually annoying, but then her speech at the graveside was nice Lily not going was a choice Sharon not being able to face it was odd - yes, Letitia Dean probably was sick or something, but they should have just not mentioned her and no-one much would have noticed After the long wait for this episode, I didn't even come close to shedding a tear and I cry at everything and Martin was one of my fave characters.
  25. Don't be silly. 😆 Literally one of the best songs ever released.
