The Final: Year End Survivor #110
I have to say Gaga. I love the song

JADE - FUFN • 3rd single
As soon as I heard the title I thought it was a risk having the expletive right there in the title. The clean version is much better. I had trouble asking Alexa from the start to play FUFN. Was okay but not until 2 weeks in. I had to ask to "Play Jade's new single '.

Alok x Kylie - last night i dreamt i fell in love
Yeah, increasing its daily sales, but 5k might just be out of reach. It's lower today than I thought it would be so not holding up much hope for Top 100 anymore

I listened to about 2 seconds of that Journey South thing before confirming what I already knew... Mary J Blige. Now if it has been Pet Shops Boys' Where The Streets Have No Name....

Round 3: Year End Survivor #112
Ja Rule for me. Just because it's the track I'm least familiar with

Alok x Kylie - last night i dreamt i fell in love
An extra 2,000 would put it on near 7k which was enough for Top 75 last week I think

Alok x Kylie - last night i dreamt i fell in love
Hmm... If it managed to scrape together 5,000 sales, would that make Top 100?

Pop Track of the Week
The Ariana track gets better with every listen.

Limahl - A Horse With No Name
How very 1990s of him to choose any old song, put a generic beat to it and think it'll do.

Brandy & Ray J without a shadow of a doubt. But at least you didn't pick it to go up against the even worse cover of Against All Odds by Westlife and Mariah Carey.

JADE - FUFN • 3rd single
I don't know how you can conclude that this campaign is over before she has even announced her debut album, and when she has festival slots at Glastonbury and R1 Big Weekend to fulfil. She also said she wants more songs out by then to fill her slots with... unless you think the debut will not see the light of day now? If the record company pull the plug on her debut, then they will pull the plug on her contract with them and she will end up having to either find another record company or go independent. Either of those options is going to take years, not months. So I do think it's dreaming for a second album to be out next year when a first hasn't been released yet.

The Gallup Years- Top 10 Sales- 1988

Round 2: Year End Survivor #112
I thought I'd be the only one voting for Destiny's Child!!

Round 5: Year End Survivor #111
Sean Paul to go next.

Round 8: Year End Survivor #110
Hot Chip for me.

JADE - FUFN • 3rd single
Absolutely no expectation that this was hold Top 100 for a third week, so even seeing it in the midweeks is a pleasant surprise. Guess that's down to the new remix?

JADE - FUFN • 3rd single
Amen to that! The way anyone hopes a second Jade album might see the light of day next year when you're never quite sure if the debut is definitely coming yet!! No harm in dreaming, I guess.

Mark Ronson. Don't know the Tatu cover and can't be jiggered to listen to it either, as Stop Me was a really good track.

Streaming Services Chart Discussion; W/C 28/03/25
Remember when Take That premiered Back For Good at The Brits and the demand for it was to a staggering level? I agree. Previewing Sorry... at the Grammy's could have been a good call.

Bedtime Stories ● Survivor Round 2
Going to stick with Love Tried to Welcome Me.

Ed Sheeran - Play
You have to admire his belief that people will still be interested in 5 albums time! He's effectively planned his next ten years of music output. Having said that, his new single does sound like a bop.

JADE - FUFN • 3rd single
Although it's a massive fall, it's good at least that this becomes her second song to spend 2 weeks Top 75 (or even Top 100).

twilight zone • 4th single
This is nice enough. Not quite to the level of We Can't Be Friends, but it's a decent enough track.

Never heard Ultra Nate before. It's okay, but was never keen on the original. So Girls Aloud easily win for me
