How is anything supposed to become a Hot Hit if nothing is added to Hot Hits?

It is a shame but, as others have sad, not massively surprising. How Spotify don't support someone who has had a Top 10 hit with longevity, is the darling of Radio 1, did THAT performance whilst winning a Brit, and is doing Glastonbury I'll never know. How is any act supposed to break? I guess we still have Apple 😁

Odd... If I try to watch it on my TV, it's age restricted. If I try to watch it on my phone, all good and lets me watch it.

Just tried it without logging in. It comes up with a warning saying about some content being unsuitable and do you want to continue. If you choose to continue it starts playing the video. I always had reservations about the explicit title. Swearing in the song is easy censored but when it's right there in the title.... Hopefully won't have too much negative impact going forward.

My only thinking here is if she is still working on vinyl variants then don't they take a long time to press? To release all variants in week one could mean the announcement is weeks ahead of the release.

Oh I thought Edge of Saturday Night would be Top 20. It's like you say, you can get carried away with the hype. Jack Saunders did his usual big up of a Hottest Record and I was sold.

Just watched the video and all I could think was PLEASE BE A HIT!! How anyone can put so much effort into presenting their music and not getting the chart success from it is ridiculous. This has to do something. I'm glad she at least gets recognition from the industry like R1 playlisting, Big Weekend, Glastonbury slot, Brits etc.

It is a shame if Felix is going. But how does someone stay in a show that gives him next to nothing to do. Absolute waste. Bernie used to be a great character, but she's done now. I think they kept her when the rest of the family left because she was popular, but there is little chance she would stay in that square knowing her brothers dead body was dragged around by 6 of her neighbours and then left to rot under the café.

Lolly vs Celine Dion. There's something you didn't expect to see. I hadn't heard the Lolly version before and, although Girls is an awesome track, I have to go for Celine.

This. I didn't really like Shdowboxing, but this is a step up. His name will be out there again as R1 will hammer it with him being on the Big Weekend line-up, but we all know that doesn't equate to streaming playlisting.

I noticed this on Amazon and found it strange. Forget You For Now is a better title anyway. Asking Alexa to play this is difficult. She doesn't find FUFN or Fvck You For Now. I ended up just having to ask her to play "Jade's new single". The song itself is amazing. Definitely her best since Angel. I so want this to be a massive hit as otherwise I see the record label losing interest and that would be awful for someone who is such a fantastic pop girl who makes banging songs and performs them with such theatrics.

I've gone for Jade as it's a cracking track from first listen. Chappell is good, Tom Grennan is also decent.

Summer of Love as fave. Story of a Heart as least fave. (It's the song I couldn't sing a single line of)

Actually quite like this. It is an odd choice after Good Luck and Pink Pony, but it's decent enough on it's own merit. Having said that, it's a bit Shania Twain album track... Or maybe like when Ella Henderson tried a bit of country. I still see radio eating it up and a decent chart run

It might grow on me, but for now it's pretty bland and I'm not keen. The harmonica instrumental becomes too repetitive and starts to grate. Not enough vocals, but they sound a bit parody of a country singer anyway (maybe that's the point?)

I seem to have completely forgotten that I'll Be There For You was a hit twice. Never knew it had different artwork second time around either. I was an insanely massive Friends fan, so how this passed me by....???

The way that Anxiety has been increasing (from 11 to 7 between Monday and Wednesday midweeks, I think that has a good shot.

Not the best Madonna lead single. Not a very interesting video. Followed an album of singles that didn't make the Top 30. Think it was released mid-week. Disastrous Brits performance. Not playlisted by Radio 1. I think it did well to go as high as #26.

I have seen a few videos on TikTok using Live to Tell today and hearing that it is "going viral", so guess that's very much the reason.
