So from what I have read - for my sins I follow The Fizz on Facebook  - Matthew (who is 53) will continue to front Let Loose (with Rob and Lee) whilst also being on an 80s tribute band (hilariously called Wham!Duran) whilst also being a member of The Fizz. I guess 80s festivals that The Fizz are at may then get bookings for Wham!Duran and 90s Festivals will avoid scheduling clashes. Whatever, the guy is going to be busy. But I do think with his age and the silver hair that he will probably fit in with Cheryl and Jay okay. Jay is "only" in her 60s and looks a great deal younger. Nikk is just 40 years old and to me does look faaaaarrr to young to be in the band. I'll reserve judgement for now on whether I'm really okay with this. I have loved Bucks Fizz since Land of Make Believe and have had to put up with many different changes over the years. Cheryl, Jay and Mike used to sell themselves on having three orginal members, but now they're down to just two and have employed new guys they are not much more than a step away from what Bobby G's Bucks Fizz were. The main plus I see here is that Matthew and Nikk will have their own fans who is now come along to The Fizz gigs.
  2. Yes! They could have easily cut off a bit of the top and/or bottom of the photo to put in Kylie and Lights Camera Action without taking away from the effect of the scene.
  3. I am so bad at predicting chart positions for Kylie. I thought Edge of Saturday Night would go Top 20 and I thought Lights Camera Action would be Top 30. Looking like a much lower entry, which is a shame. I agree with the comment that Padam and Tension kind of got us thinking Kylie could repeat this success over again, but it doesn't look likely this time round now.
  4. Light Years. Lights Camera Action in second place, but LY is just brilliant
  5. Yay for Bucks Fizz. With diminishing returns for the two singles after Making Your Mind Up (a #12 and a #20 peak) and an album that didn't make the Top 10 (#14 peak) then Land of Make Believe must have been a bit of a make or break for them. Well deserved "shoulda been Christmas" No.1 that even their critics couldn't deny was a brilliant pop song.
  6. Yes, his vocals on this are pretty awesome. Great track.
  7. OMG... the video. Really fricking awesome!!
  8. Curiosity listen for this one and won't seek it out again. The chasing trend is shameless enough, but that school hymn bit just made me giggle.
  9. This is great. Not quite on a par with Angel of My Dreams but would have been perfectly acceptable as a second single if that had been the case. Either way, she is serving as by far the best solo Little Mixer.
  10. Have listened to the single version a couple of times, the extended version and currently on the Confidence Man remix. It's good. Wouldn't be out of place as a Joel Corry collab. Better than all the recent singles except Edge of Saturday Night. Padam it isn't, but I wouldn't have expected it to be. I think they are probably hoping the "Lights, Camera, Action, that's it!" and the music after catches on for a TikTok video... Extended version does add something to it, but quite happy with the shorter version. They do appear to be throwing everything at it this week, so I am expecting it to turn up Top 20 in the First Look on Sunday and then probably finish Top 30 at best. Peak in week 1.
  11. Start with Tension and work backwards through the studio albums. Don't forget about Let's Get To It!!
  12. Why has Shayne Ward done that to his hair, eh?
  13. Looking forward to this. 1982 was the biggest "Top 10" year for one of my fave groups.
  14. I've always liked Ella Henderson and love most of her dance collabs, but I agree she appears to be chasing trends here. It sounds quite country music inspired, but whether that will feel authentic from Ella is another matter. Having said that, it sounds ok from the clip

Just listened and totally agree that this is Ava Max barely needing to get out of bed... It's not bad... it's not brilliant... It's just Ava Max.

I liked the friendship between Bobby and Freddie, but until this week that seemed to have dropped off somewhat. They didn't seem the cheeky-chappy duo they had been for quite a while. I do always smile at these quick departures though... It's like, I'm going to ring my mum, ask to live with her, she'll drive from the Cotswolds to London, I'll pack all my stuff and be gone... all in one day. Now please... back to Sonia being proved innocent so we can see the back of Reiss as well.
  17. The original is an awesome track that I still actively choose to listen to now and again. This version may as well just be Lost Frequencies Remix as there is very little new here at all. Hopefully just introduces the song to a new generation
  18. Love that single artwork. Absolutely perfect for the theme of the song.
  19. A smidge under 24 minutes of new music to look forward to then!! Lights Camera Action does sound exciting!!
  20. Heard this on Radio 1 this morning and didn't think much to it. Just re-listened at home and it's better on second try, but still nothing that special.
  21. I understand the lack of love for CGYOOMH as I have never been keen on it, but #44???? And... Padam, All The Lovers, I Believe in You? None Top 30? This thread does make me want to do my own list to see how they compare
  22. I Begin to Wonder. Slow is generally an overrated Kylie single which I've never been keen on
  23. Absolutely loving this, instantly on first listen. Deserves to smash.

Got tickets for Cardiff in the pre-sale. Had a meeting this morning so couldn't go on until late. Had to get aisle seats as well so not best tickets in the world but it will be good to go see him.
  25. Yeah, 2 Hearts is a bad single. No idea why anyone would choose that as a lead, unless it was to keep in with experimenting with genre for lead singles? I wouldn't ever choose to listen to it and would skip it if it came up on shuffle. Into The Blue, on the otherhand, is an under-rated gem. Uplifting Kylie-pop. Great song.
