  1. So #28 debut was a bit underwhelming (though understandable) but out of the Top 200 on second day is rather surprising! Although I know this happens after NMF effect has gone and all that, do songs regularly fall out from as high as #28?
  2. What I meant was that AOMD was so big, then MC felt like it killed the momentum of Jade's solo career before Fantasy then put it in danger of being totally squashed. I do wonder if things might have been different if FUFN or IT Girl had immediately followed AOMD.
  3. I always slept on Midnight Cowboy. Releasing it as a promo single which then didn't do well felt like it killed a bit of AOMD momentum. But now I really like the song. It's grown on me since album release and it being part of the run of singles at the start.
  4. I had higher hopes too, but I think that was me believing the hype. Am I right in thinking there was no Hot Hits add? Guessing without that it wasn't set to storm the Top 10 straight out of the gate?
  5. Entering and peaking Top 10. I think this is doable with the hype and Sabrina inclusion. A Madonna led single making #1 in 2026 would be awesome, but it's unrealistic.
  6. 4 Minutes Me Against The Music Bring Your Love Give Me All Your Luvin' Medellin
  7. Stayed up late enough to listen and it's just as great as I wanted it to be after hearing it at Coachella. I know it's going to stay in my head as I was quietly singing it walking round ALDI yesterday 🤣 so now we have the proper full studio version then I think that's going to happen more. I think Sabrina is a genius move to get a decent sized hit, radio play and playlist support.
  8. Well these results are going the right way so far. All we need to do now is get Silent Disco out next... (Doubtful I would imagine). When you get to Church you can stop as you have obviously reached #1 by then 😁
  9. I saw this as a "coming soon" on my Netflix home page yesterday... Really looking forward to it as Netflix documentaries are usually pretty good.
  10. Madonna being on the R1 playlist as the lead artist in 2026 is pretty impressive. A-list would be amazing.
  11. Oh I liked this at Coachella so am glad they are releasing it (though it should have been released two weeks ago) Surely it's got to be the proper lead single though? Enough people are confused about I Feel So Free being a single or not (I know it's not) so let's not add to it.
  12. This doesn't appear on my radar until I hear it on the radio or in a bar and then I'm like, Oh my God this is good, and then I forget about it again. Quite surprised that it dropped quite so far in week 2 in the UK, but don't really know how much playlist support it's getting.
  13. Born Again Virgin? Truest Blue?
  14. Are we sure that the Sabrina colab is the lead single? Maybe it wasn't released straight after the performance because it's not going to be released (at least not yet)? I think the song with the major music video will be the lead, and that didn't appear to be the Sabrina colab.

The only reason I could do with Rein Me In not being No.1 anymore is so it doesn't become the main song Sam Fender is remembered for... and so maybe Buzzjack doesn't hate on him too much.
  16. I know it means very little... but on the Big Top 40, I Feel So Free entered the chart at #2 (only behind Alex Warren's Fever Dream).
  17. And it's available to stream as just found it on Amazon Unlimited. Love the full proper version. But Bring Your Love (if that's what the Sabrina colab is called) is the better choice for lead single.
  18. I like it. It's a tad underwhelming at first, but knowing it's promo and not the lead single is better. It really is a chill intro to the album. Reminded me of that We've Lost Dancing song from a few years ago.

Nothing original for Lew Cap, but pleasant enough.

Yeah, this is the best new song out this week. Really enjoyed it from first listen. Might not be about to knock Rein Me In off the top, but think it will come quite close.
  21. I never did, and still don't, find Madonna's version of Fever particularly interesting. Released far too quickly after Bad Girl, it really did feel like they were saying "throw out a cover version of a song everyone knows because Bad Girl wasn't a hit". Am I right in remembering that the video hadn't been finished at this point so the UK got one made up of clips from other videos instead?

Well that's the worst Ava Max single I've ever head.
  23. Remember when a Joel Corry single was a big deal? For someone who loved his hits and bought his album, I've kinda taken little interest in recent releases. This one is good though and really enjoyed it on first listen.
  24. I have to echo the opinions that this is pretty underwhelming. First new song I listened to today and I just thought it was pleasant enough but nothing special. Hopefully it grows as Sombr has been consistantly great for me up until now.
  25. Deluxe by far. The font on the standard is basic as hell and looks like something you could rustle up in Word in 5 minutes.
