I love this programme. It's perfect Sunday morning with a cuppa in bed viewing

Can you imagine... "Michelle would like some time off please." "Right... Kill her character off!!" "Okay... Erm... How?" "Just send her to Lynn's and she can die off screen." (I appreciate this won't be how Zoe is actually written out)
  3. I would never!!!
  4. Totally agree. And if England had also made the final and everyone had been watching (whilst also getting up and dancing!) it woulda had such a boost in the UK!! Ah well... If my granny had wheels...
  5. Doesn't that make ATLHG more under rated than NB then? 😁

I echo the laughter at Zoe having to go to stay with Lynn because she needs help with her puppies. The woman can't cope on her own with anything!! 😱

Mark doesn't need to leave. He's a decent enough "bit player". Josh has only just arrived. I like Jonny, but he's a bit nothing. I've been waiting for Zack to go for ages.
  8. 18 Top 40 hits and only the 48th biggest seller of the 90s. Come on, Kylie... You shoulda been able to do better than that.
  9. Was so much hoping this could turn out to be a decent sized hit and maybe climb a bit, but guessing that unless it gets added high to some big Spotify playlists or gets a physical release, that's probably not going to happen now. A week in the Top 40 for a solo Madonna single is good enough for me.

This does feel a little odd, but I am imagining it's to rival the Big Top 40 and to claim back the charts. The Big Top 40 advertised as the UK's Biggest Chart Show, so this will potentially get that back to Radio 1 and the official charts. I quite often listen to the Big Top 40 when travelling back from a weekend away, so I would rather go to the First Look instead when this happens. The amount of people also who think that the No.1 on the Big Top 40 is the official one... That will possibly now change to them thinking that if a song on the R1 charts on a Sunday is No.1 then that's the official one instead.
  11. I went and listened to them both again and I voted for the right song. Old Steps beats New Steps. ATLHG is the better song but is still in the final of under rated.
  12. Neon Blue was released at a time when a Steps single would unlikely chart, but I hear fans on here liking it. ATLHG peaked at #5 after four Top 2 singles. It does seem to now be more under rated than NB. Just my thinking when I voted.

Oh... I watched it on iPlayer, but it was at about 7:30 so maybe they added it really late. You didn't miss much 🤣

The dialogue between Alfie and Jean in the hastily shot and shoehorned in football scene was pretty damn cringe, as usual for these things. Alfie giving so much info about what happened in the match whilst dressed as a supporter. I get why they do the kind of scene, but they are rarely any good.
  15. #7 is better than I expected on first midweek. I saw a guy walking round town earlier clutching a vinyl copy and I thought "Week 2 sales!!"
  16. After The Love Has Gone

Well I guess she did ask for time off... Seriously though, I won't miss her. I have found her character quite annoying from the get-go. I just think they could do without yet another death, especially one so close to that of Anthony.
  18. Yeah, I agree Olivia Dean is the inescapable one. I did wonder about Sam Fender, but he's only really inescapable because of OD anyway.
  19. It's crazy that this track spent a week at #75 and then dropped out.
  20. I hated It's Raining Men as a kid in the 80s. Love it now. Blame Stuart and Vince at the end of S1 of Queer as Folk UK!
  21. But read that it's likely to be on iPlayer.
  22. And she gets a second Top 40 hit from the album on the day it's added to the R1 playlist. What a day to be alive for a Madonna fan. Now... is a little longevity and maybe even a climb too much to ask for?
  23. So pleased that Madonna is back at #1 on the UK album charts. Numbers speak for themselves. Just goes to show that you can never count Madonna out.
  24. Actually, I guess so because that would fit in with the media narrative when Bring Your Love was on?
  25. My jaw droppeth!!!! R1 playlist without a feature. When was the last time she got this?
