Padam Padam: Week 5 Chart Predictions
As it's at 7 on First Look, I have gone for non-mover. I think Leigh Anne may fall, but Peggy Gou and Hannah Laing are biting at the heels and you can never count out Rema and Harry.

The Gallup Years- Top 10 sales
Even the most fanatic of Bucks Fizz fans (i.e. someone who likes them even more than me) would admit their version of Whats Love deserves being overlooked for Tina. Time After Time, Sun Go Down, When Doves Cry and White Lines. Some great tracks there away from the Frankie domination.

Why were only 3 singles released from BL?
I was so disappointed in Body Language (except the sexy art work) Even Slow doesn't have the effect on me it does on others. I do love Red Blooded Woman though.
-
Round 7 | 1999 End of Year Survivor
Shanks & Bigfoot now
-
Final Round : End Of Year Survivor No.62
One of Steps best singles.
-
Nathan Dawe, Joel Corry & Ella Henderson - 0800 HEAVEN
This song is so flipping good!! And yes, some people would just make that the video, wouldn't they.
-
Vulgar ● Collaboration with Sam Smith
Enters the UK chart today at.... 69!!! Madonna would love it
-
Finally Enough Love ● Remix Album
This so much. So what if it is using a loophole. So are so many other albums and singles... beating records and staying in the charts forever. Why not Madonna too? It is what the rules says it is.

EastEnders
They are Phil's... but he gives them to Reiss as a thank you for cooking the books and ruining The Arches for Keanu and lining Ben's pockets with the profits instead. When Sharon finds out, she flies into a rage and kills Reiss in the Vic whilst Sonia is in the loo. You heard it here first.

Padam Padam ● 1st single
This. Think I'll ignore Kylie forum posts on a Friday from here on in.

Leigh-Anne - Don't Say Love • 1st Single
The song it great. The video is not. It does sound a little bit like it could be a DJ x DJ feat Pop Star, but those kind of songs do really well and this would sound great in the sunshine (rather than in a dark room with flashing lights).

Peggy Gou - (It Goes Like) Nanana
Yeah, this is good and reasonably instant. Hope it grows chartwise.

EastEnders
Whoever owns the cufflinks, could they lend them to Reiss for Christmas Day please?
-
The Gallup Years- Top 10 sales
Like the Nik Kershaw song. He had a release between Wouldn't It Be Good and Sun Go Down. Dancing Girls peaked outside the Top 10 at No.13.
-
Vulgar ● Collaboration with Sam Smith
I guess a Sam Smith and Madonna collab was always going to be a bit OTT... but Vulgar - whilst not terrible - is just a bit crude. Imagine if they'd teamed up for I'm Not Here To Make Friends... good pop song, bit of a statement, generally up for repeat listens.
-
Padam Padam ● 1st single
Random thought of the day... Imagine LadBaby jumping on this for Christmas 2023... "Sau - sage Rolls I smell them and I know... Sau - sage Rolls I know I wanna eat one whole... Those rolls From my head to my toes... Sau - sage Rolls Make my heart go... PADAM!!!" Now that would make Buzzjack explode!!
-
Round 6 | 1999 End of Year Survivor
Sticking with Shania.

The Gallup Years- Top 10 sales
Back in the 80s, everything FGTH did was supposed to be controversial and you couldn't escape them. It was almost default that you liked the record, even though when looking back it was a tad over-rated. Smalltown Boy is a song I've come to appreciate more as the years go on. Dancing With Tears In My Eyes is a brilliant track.

Padam Padam ● 1st single
Sitting in the office with a colleague playing the radio and Padam coming on and kinda bopping at my desk. Then a colleague said, "Ooh... someone told me how good the new Kylie song is."
-
Padam Padam ● 1st single
The Hannah Laing song is being tipped as a possible No.1 and is just taking off big time. I think it will probably only climb as the week goes on, so I don't think Padam will catch it.
-
Padam Padam ● 1st single
If on weeks 7, 8 and 9 it has decreased then in week 10 it will be on ACR. Keep in mind that on the week when Tension is released it increases in streaming by 25%, then it goes back from ACR to SCR again (but this doesn't happen that often and usually only for people who have massive streaming albums - which Kylie tends not to).

EastEnders
It's quite often a toss up between the Panesars and the Ben Mitchell show. Nish is just not a pleasant character. I know he's not supposed to be... but nor is Ravi, but you can't help but like the man. At least it's better that Elaine throwing a drink over Freddie in the pub. I mean... what?? I'll just calmly launch a drink at someone and then when I find I'm in the wrong I'll just walk away... great landlady. Honestly, terrible character.

Streaming Services Chart Discussion
Apart from the "Hey kids, spelling is fun!" line, I absolutely love ME and it's still one of my fave tracks by her. The video is unreal!!
-
Vulgar ● Collaboration with Sam Smith
The problem with people around Madonna is (and appears to always have been) that they are "Yes" people. She could play them the biggest pile of poop (Material Gworl, for example) or show them a ridiculous video (that Hung Up remix, maybe?) and people will tell her it's amazing and she will go to bed happy that everyone still loves her. Madonna has never been one for doing anything other than what she wants. I don't think Vulgar is that bad at all... but it probably wasn't the wisest move when she is getting people back on side with a legacy tour.
-
Padam Padam ● 1st single
Only streaming is taken into consideration for ACR, not downloads etc. So it stops a record company banging out a remix on iTunes one week just to avoid ACR.
