  1. Would be so good if this got a few weeks in the Top 100. Had it on R1 earlier and it just sounds so good in the car in the sunshine!!
  2. Imagine Shakin Stevens winning over Madonna... That would have been insane. Ridiculous enough that he beat Michael Jackson! But he had the hits, I guess. Madonna the rightful Queen of the 80s. So many classics. Always thought Like a Prayer was the masterpiece, but True Blue is probably her best 80s album. And great for choosing Express Yourself for the video, especially with the awesome Blond Ambition choreography.
  3. When you can only think of one of the two acts remaining 😂 Wondering if I should Google or wait and see...
  4. Ahh, I can't make the listen through, which is a shame. I've already voted anyhows, but I'd have been there for the social aspect
  5. Azizam, Manchild and Plastic Box for me

Just had a look at her discography and she hasn't had a decent solo hit anywhere in the world in 5 years (since My Head and My Heart). It always amazes me when someone gets to keep going like this. Back in the 90s she would have been dropped within a year! She has used the word SOON as to when she will be touring... And we all know what that means...
  7. Album charts-wise, I think every track should be streamed (not necessarily by the same person) for it to count as a sale. So effectively, the least streamed song on the album. Why it's the most streamed, I just don't know. An album is an album, whether it's the first song or the last.

Ravi's Red Room of Pain? You never know. Could be?!

The story line around Bernie going was good, but could have played out for a little longer. All she's done since Keanu is mope about with a face like a slapped arse though. As for Felix. His one-episode write out where he unrealistically kept quiet about Keanu, watched Callum unrealistically kiss Jonny and the unrealistically got changed in 5 minutes to be in drag and then left with next to no luggage with a plane ticket that Bernie had spent hundreds on "just in case" he wanted to go with her.
  10. Duran Duran are a great 80s band. The Greatest album is a brilliant listen, which just goes to show how many top notch singles they had. Fun Fact - My brother used to be a Daniel Craig look-a-like and is in a recent Duran video for Anniversary with a load of other look-a-likes!! FGTH had some great singles, but I found their album barely listenable. When the first track is less than 2 minutes and the second is almost quarter of an hour long, it just seems a little over-indulgent from the outset.
  11. Thought I'd have a listen to this to compare. I'll stick with Ed Sheeran and Alex Warren, to be honest.
  12. I kind of assumed there would be a load of famous faces here from the UK shows, so it's great to see so many other countries and shows represented. Looking forward to being introduced to some of those tracks and seeing how this all pans out.

I wonder if Anna will come back from Spain for an exit, or whether that's just it for her. Easiest storyline (apart from saying she's staying in Spain) is her leaving with Freddie. Who says Elaine won't stay behind the bar? She can work there, even if she doesn't own it.
  14. Madonna has "paid homage" to others for decades by replicating their images - whether photos, style or video. I guess Sabrina Carpenter is just doing the same thing. Let's copy Madonna by copying a legend!
  15. I've only heard this once, but I thought it was pleasant enough in a "we've never met each other to do this collab" kind of way. Not as good as Bloodline, which I'm surprised hasn't taken off any better than it did, but I'd rather listen to On My Mind than Ordinary,
  16. Oh, I just remembered Keep Me A Secret. How good was that tune!!

This is true... Which probably is one of the reasons I don't like a lot of his music. Shouting reasonably in tune isn't singing, is it.

For someone who is not a Lewis fan, I'm kinda liking this on first couple of listens. It does sound a little shouty though.
  19. Wouldn't resetting Someone You Loved being potentially damaging to Survive chart-wise? If the label have any say in it, I would have thought they would want to concentrate on promoting his new material over anything old. Whereas Oasis had no new material, so resetting Wonderwall was more beneficial?
  20. Last minute entry of a song I have always liked from my fave ever Talent TV contestant.
  21. The continued use of the word "flop" against someone who is scoring Top 10 and Top 20 hits are tiring and annoying as well. Slate Ed Sheeran because he's obsessed with the charts and making No.1, slate him when he's not. Whilst not being the biggest fan, I have just tried to show that a song is not a flop just because it hasn't done quite as well the artists previous releases. If that's annoying or tiring to read then sorry for my part in the debate. (I haven't overly used emojis from what I can see though). Maybe it's time to step back from this particular discussion and all agree to disagree.
  22. Best Kim Wilde is Kids in America, though I enjoyed a lot of her songs. I liked the Eurythmics, but they didn't get better than Sweet Dreams.
  23. Not to be the Grammar Police, but how do you talk about a song being a FLOP due to its SUCCESS in the same sentence?
  24. I have an idea of a song, but there's no video for it, only the Official Audio on YouTube. Is that okay?
  25. This is a BOP!!! I hope this does a Somedays rather than a No Bad Vibes (though the latter did well, without reaching the Top 40)
