Friday Chart Predictions
Twenty One Pilots still as high as #22. Guessing that's on lock for Top 40 then. If they keep Top 30 it will be their first since Heathens in 2016!

The Gallup Years- Top 10 Sales- 1992
End of the Road is so unappealing to me. Couldn't stand it at the time and still don't. Can't remember it getting to No.1. How very boring. It's good to see that Erotica wasn't too far behind, as that single is generally considered to be a struggle up the charts for a Madonna lead. Going back a few weeks... Hello to East 17. House of Love is a cracking tune.

Friday Chart Predictions
Twenty One Pilots at #22. Probably won't stay Top 40 but hoping for another Top 75 in the bag there.

EastEnders
What did Lee, Claire, H, Lisa and Faye ever do to her?

EastEnders
Weirdest moment tonight was when they put Many Rivers To Cross on in The Vic and none of the cast appeared to know any of the words they were supposed to be singing along to! 🤣 And... "I'm going to shop you to the police for murder." "Oh please don't... Marry me instead." "Go on then..."

The Great Divide is a very good track and deserves to be climbing in the Top 10. I hope it can recover. Aperture is an absolutely awesome song. Yeah, I'm a Harry fan, but I don't like it just because it's Harry, I like it because it's such a good track. Experimental, laid-back, whilst also a song you can singalong to. Pretty gutted its dropping so quickly.

I am liking Drive Safe. It's a bit middle-of-the-road stuff, but pleasant.

Ah... worked it out now. The sample it Love Story (which I have never heard before but is really rather good), but I am comparing it to Golden Brown by The Stranglers.

Thanks. I don't recognise that title/artist either, but I must know the song. I'll have a listen to it later

I'm liking Release The Pressure. Bit of a banger, to be honest. Shame it's not entered a bit higher. Not sure for its longevity.

JADE - THAT'S SHOWBIZ BABY! THE ENCORE • 1st Album DELUXE
I've had a few weeks with the Encore and with the CD the go-to music in my car I have listened a lot. Think this is my list of current faves. Church is the smash hit that never was. Use Me is another standout from the deluxe. Plastic Box was my No 1 for ages. I rarely like ballads and I almost always skip Headache and Glitch. Dreamcheater is the weakest of the deluxe tracks. 1 Church 2 FUFN (f*** You For Now) 3 Plastic Box 4 Angel Of My Dreams 5 Before You Break My Heart 6 IT girl 7 Use Me 8 This Is What We Dance For 9 Midnight Cowboy 10 Frozen 11 If My Heart Was A House 12 Unconditional 13 Fantasy 14 Lip Service 15 Best You Could 16 Self Saboteur 17 Tar 18 Dreamcheater 19 Headache 20 Natural at Disaster 21 Silent Disco 22 Glitch

EastEnders
When he was in a vest sat at Phil's kitchen table... He could have been on Gladiators!! Bea... Irritating to say the very least.

Harry Styles - Aperture
Although I understand why people are saying, "This wouldn't be noticed if it was by anyone else..." I don't really see the point of that argument. As Joseph said, it could apply to anyone taking a chance and making something completely different to what was expected of them. Its just that Harry has had the balls to get out there are surprise us all. It's risky, but I hope it pays off and if it doesn't then I'm sure the commercial bangers that were expected will be up next.

Harry Styles - Aperture
Listened to this first thing and, like others, was very impressed that he hadn't played it safe. Liked it, but did wonder if he had gone too experimental. Had a half-hour drive to work, so put it on repeat and after a few more listens it's absolutely cracking. Still going round in my head. I want this to be massive.

Harry Styles - Aperture
So here for a Harry return. His last couple of albums have been so good and "As It Was" is still a perfect pop song. Not sure about a six-minute track, but at least he's bucking the three-minute trend and looking to get the streams regardless of it being longer than your standard modern pop song. Can't wait to hear Aperture tomorrow.

The Traitors UK • Series 4
I can't stand James. He looks, sounds and talks just like someone who is forced into my life and I hate them with everything I have. I've literally wanted James out since episode one. The only reason I wanted him to stay in last night is to get Matt out, as I want a Traitors win and he was onto them. Faraaz would be an underwhelming winner as he doesn't seem to have been that prominent during the series. I really think this is shaping up to a Rachel vs Stephen for the final hurdle. Maybe ever a Split or Steal, if they will do that in the UK version.

The Gallup Years- Top 10 Sales- 1992
Stay is such an awesome song. Switched me on to Shakespears Sister and got her to buy the album, all the singles from it, and their previous album. Shanice and Opus III being the tracks I have forgotten over time but loved when released.

Julian rates every Top 40 hit: the 1980s edition
How did Bucks Fizz's Now Those Days Are Gone fall out of the Top 100 from #35? That really is an off-the-cliff drop.

The Traitors UK • Series 4
Harriet saw herself as a Traitor Hunter (to be fair, she's pretty good at it) but when her outburst at Rachel was met with suspicion from some she seemed to throw herself under the bus. Reeked of getting sheep to vote you out so you leave of your own accord rather than being voted out because your plan backfired. I didn't like the way she acted in last night's episode. She came across as thinking she was better than everyone else. Glad she's gone. The amount of nights they skip a murder, and then having so many people with a shield it's likely to skip another, and then offering up recruiting. They are going to have a lot of people left come the final. I wonder if they'll do a double murder!!??

EastEnders
Watching EastEnders last night, my partner turned to me and said, "She's going to be an annoying character." Pretty much summed up what I was thinking about Bea. Another misfire

LA BAMBOLA (for Dolce & Gabbana: The One)
I know it means very little, but this was at #24 on the Big Top 40 today. I think it's quite nicely sung, and she looks really good in the advert. Feels like a soft way in to the new album, though obviously Confessions #2 will not be this kind of music
