  2. Do we really have to do this to On The Beach?
  3. Should be noted my drop is only so sharp because I deleted my single half way thru the week. x Also can TheSnake have his usernames back plz.
  4. Probably the 90s if I had to pick one.
  5. Planet Perfecto – Bullet In The Gun 2000 Basement Jaxx – Romeo Coldplay – Trouble Sugababes - Overload Mary J. Blige – Family Affair
  6. Oh balls my hopes of Billie climbing to #1 are not holding so strong now. :(
  7. Ah yes, Aphex Twin was the one I was thinking of.
  8. The details escape me but i'm sure there was a case of an EP making the lower regions of the chart recently (having been top 20 on First Look thanks to physicals). I don't think it was officially credited as such by the OCC though.
  9. +5 Hozier - Too Sweet +4 Billie Eilish - CHIHIRO +3 Billie Eilish - BIRDS OF A FEATHER +2 Sabrina Carpenter - Espresso +1 Billie Eilish - LUNCH -1 Tommy Richman - MILLION DOLLAR BABY -2 Post Malone feat. Morgan Wallen - I Had Some Help -3 Shaboozey - A Bar Song (Tipsy) -4 Dasha - Austin -5 Benson Boone - Beautiful Things Overall that's a really strong top 10 for me. Everything gets at least an average/decent score apart from Beautiful Things which still refuses to piss off.

The curse of Co-op live continues lmaooooo
  11. Yeah Paul Weller had a double-A side that got to #26 in 2010, possibly the last example in the top 40. Apart from Raye of course.
  12. Delighted Billie could be going to #1 officially. I agree that Lunch isn't one of the highlights of the album but I still think it's a really solid track.
  13. Even if Leona had just scraped to #1, I think the fact that one of the tracks was also charting lower down the top 40 and had cost it a comfortable victory would have been noted and you wouldn't have seen many more double-A releases. It was bound to die a death once downloads were free to chart without a designated physical release attached to it. The McFly #1 from 2007 was less notable because it was so physical heavy, although Transylvania did chart in its own right at #85.
  14. At a guess the Leona Lewis one that killed the double A side when the download discrepancy cost it #1.
  15. It's a mighty shame Children didn't keep it's early lead and debut at #1 there. Timeless classic.
  16. Oh that'a good for BMTH. Kool-Aid is a banger so glad to see that back. Urgh at the return of Central Cee.
  17. Ladies Bras is the shortest to ever chart in the top 40, but it broke a record set only weeks before by Green Day with the Simpsons Theme. That made the top 20 so I guess holds that record. The shortest ever top 10 was Liam Lynch United States Of Whatever, i’m not sure if that has been broken in recent years though. Longest top 10/20/40 record is quite comfortably the Orb I believe. Longest ever #1 was All Around The World by Oasis at over 9 mins.
  18. Yeah agreed. 2016 took hellscape chart sluggishness to a new level. Let's not think we were better off there.
  19. Madonna yet again. Sorry Julian but GA to win the whole thing for me.
  20. That would imply there was real fundamental change worth celebrating. I’m sure things will be marginally better under Labour, they can surely only get better at this point (tee hee). I won’t be spending a second deluding myself that everything will be sunny on the other side with a slightly watered down version of the same thing though.
  21. Oh bollocks!!! In other news Rishi wouldn’t have looked out of place in a satire. The music almost drowning him out and the rain making it look like he had bird shit on his jacket. An appropriate display to represent the state of things.
  22. Oh BLOODY ELL!! Announcement is over and BBC are still wittering on. When can I watch Pointless??
  23. oh i'm calling a whole LOAD of shenanigans on this.
  24. Everything I said about A Day In The Life I echo for Tomorrow Never Knows, incredible piece of music.
