Honestly their offensively mid remix of Whitney Houston kind of deserves to be their last (just about) chart placement as a form of karma. :kink:
  2. It's when you actively play one particular song from search (or reach the end of an album or playlist) and then other songs automatically follow that it comes into play. In principle this is supposed to be similar songs to what you were just listening to and often is but on several occasions it's been noted that users are recieving certain songs on autoplay a lot and said songs seem to have a significant cut in numbers after about a week.
  3. The Freedonia committee is still in the process of conducting their own listenthrough but votage will be coming soon.
  4. I suspect it's a combination of both. Will probably see a numbers drop off when the autoplay expires but is equally likely now at the level of genuine popularity to still be in contention for #1. I hope it does despite not being as enamoured with it as most as i'm enjoying a bit of quick turnover at the top.
  5. Ashes To Ashes  What a classic!
  6. Agreed both versions are good in their own way.
  7. Would have preferred Diana Ross to cling on and take the #1 there tbh.
  8. Just catching up. Favourites from the last few batches are 'Let's Dance To Joy Division', 'Stop And Stare', 'Bohemian Like You', '03 Bonnie & Clyde', 'Seaside', 'Fire', 'Violet Hill, 'Old Yellow Bricks' and 'Smile Like You Mean It'.
  9. Lisa Maffia. There's only 4 songs I care for in this whole poll though oop.
  10. What a truly abysmal top 3 for Christmas. And 483,000 people went out to get a Robson & Jerome album the same week. What in gods name were the putting in the water that week?
  11. Prodigy, Sub Sub & Enigma for the best. Was only going to be the Run For You cover (which I hate) for the worst but I listen to the Right Said Fred one for the first time for the sake of a fair vote and it gave me the ick. I'll take Deeply Dippy any day over that so got a vote too.
  12. Shenangians. My shouts about where is Long Dong Silver's postage about Long Dong Silver's other postage about Katy Perry's flop single choices were removed. Cost me #1 I fear. :o
  13. Obviously still depends on how the album tracks perform over the next few days but I would bet on Taylor 1/3/4 with Hozier at 2 and Sabrina at 5 atm.
  14. +5 Hozier - Too Sweet +4 Artemas - i like the way you kiss me +3 Ariana Grande - we can't be friends (wait for your love) +2 Dua Lipa - Illusion +1 Sabrina Carpenter - Espresso -1 Dasha - Austin -2 Perrie - Think About Us -3 Beyoncé - TEXAS HOLD 'EM -4 Teddy Swims - Lose Control -5 Benson Boone - Beautiful Things
  15. Great news! It feels right that this record belongs to an event release again rather than the annual passive listening on Christmas Day.
  16. Who thinks it's doing more than 300k? Adele 'only' did 262k. (that's to say 300k is unattainable as a weekly album sale these days, not to suggest Adele did low numbers before someone jumps in with nonsense. :kink:)
  17. oh BOLLOCKS!!!! When did this disappear and why? I swear I listened to it on Spotify not so long ago. Relegation for the Chicken Song. Give us back the original radio edit of Ebeneezer Goode instantly.
  18. Erm... I don't know her. Except for Beyonce which is panifully mid, Radiohead which is pretty great and i'm glad managed to make the cut and The Rasmus which is an absolute bop and my highlight s far.
  19. I actually genuinely want the Chicken Song on there. It's great fun. (well I want all of them however crap on there for completeness really, but Chicken Song first plz x)
  20. wobbleflop? What's the tea wardy?
  21. Very interested in following this.
  22. I doubt it tbh. To say it's leaked and is an anticipated album I haven't seen it anywhere on the internet today (maybe Youtube et al... have got better at insta blocking these things) and anybody who's a hardcore fan choosing to go out of their way to find it will probably still be streaming it anyway.
