If Tell Ur Girlfriend continues falling from here it will have had a pretty natural looking chart run; 92-31-18-15-21-27...

Can we please, PLEASE, not mention 'Dance Monkey' and 'return' in the same sentence? Let's not even put that out there. Thanks.

In a way it's just as surprising that it's never gone top 40 in the years since as in its original chart run. Would have thought it could have easily done it with the exposure of an X Factor performance or something in the download era.

Guessing Baby Lasagna didn't make it then. :(

Home's chart run is one of those super depressing streaming era examples. Just hovering mid-table top 40 for weeks on end with no sight of a signficiant climb before fading away. Decent track though.

Hoping for a new #1 but seriously doubtful with the physicals and might not have done it regardless. Also fingers crossed for Baby Lasagna making it into the top 40 but also have my doubts there. :(

Good lord some of the #1s on this week in history. The Frankee/Eamon shite, Boyzone peddling more dreary MOR 70s cover horeseshit, Manchester sodding United? Miracle on the other hand still sounds fab a year on.

Julian rates every 21st century Top 40 hit
The Big Brother Theme would honestly be my pick of the bunch from the last lot. A TV theme does not need to be going this hard but i'm here for it.

The Beatles rate 2024
I'm also shocked that quite a few wouldn't rank A Day In The Life even among the top 50 Beatles records. It's right up there for me, hence getting my bronze position. Pioneering, experimental, psychedelic brilliance.

Friday Chart Predictions
iTunes sales alone count for incredibly little these days. It's only really relevant when there's a big charity release or a very slim gap in streaming at the top.
