My...Tuppence!!

Lobster Telephone is another bop from Peggy, not feeling quite as instant as 1 +1 = 11 for me but still great on first listen.

SMUT!!!! :o

Cassius – Cassius 1999 Unkle feat. Ian Brown – Be There Chicane feat. Maire Brennan – Saltwater Supergrass – Moving Travis – Why Does It Always Rain On Me? +1 Daphne & Celeste for the Jamelia slot

I assume Lunch is the focus track given she released a snippet in advance. Glad she’s getting a big push on NMF, hope the album delivers and she can get some more hits.

Another of my personal top 10 falling there.

Brer you have forgotten that the OCC retrospectively gave Space Man the #1 position in one of their list articles so it was a #1. Thanks. ;)

Pure sales declined harder from 2016 onwards but the warning signs were already there in 2014/15. The OCC were more proactive with adding streaming given they made the mistake of leaving it too late with downloads and resulting in abysmal sales and unrepresentative charts in 2004/5. I hate a lot of the things that have happened to the chart as a result of streaming become the dominant form of consumption too, but it is, has been for a long time and will continue to be. Debating whether it should count towards any of the charts in 2024 is a moot point.

Whatever the reason it can bugger right off again.

??? Yes and then they continuously declined from there, that’s the whole point.

Looking pretty safe for Sabrina to overtake come Friday now and probably with a sizeable gap if she has physicals included. Shame we aren’t getting a new #1.

Aww I have a big soft spot for Checkin It Out. Voted for One Night Only.

Britney. It's a strong track from her tbh but Amy's are better.

Madonna. Will be a shame if P!nk goes, the second best remaining imo.

Starmer wouldn't do F all that risked upsetting the apple cart. Would be quite satisfying if they let Israel in next year and a domino effect of non-participation rendered the whole thing moot. Egg on their faces, thick and runny.

So can we take this as confirmation that Sheeran intends to not release new music for the remainder of the year?

Love, love, love both of those.

As has been alluded to in other comments, people are bound to try and pick holes and form their own theories in a case where there is no absolute 'smoking gun' piece of evidence presented, forgetting that in law if the circumstantial evidence is overwhelming enough it holds the same weight. She was fairly convicted based on the evidence presented, as T Boy points out this didn't even extend to all of the charges brought which pretty conclusively tackles the 'jury bias' argument. Women who kill on more than one occasion are rare but when they do their victims are often the very young. Instead of embarking on a chase to create doubt about the safeness of the conviction, what really needs to be focused on as a result of in the wake of this case is getting to the root of how she was allowed to go on doing it and implementing institutional measures in response to that. Yes a large part of that does involve hospital departments being overworked, understaffed and underfunded, unfortunately the chances of seeing real change on the horizon where that is concerned look bleak right now.

I think it could still go either way although Sabrina is looking the more likely at the moment. The exact level of the boost for Posty from the HHUK add could be the deciding factor.

If they disqualified another country from next years and not Israel it would make the biggest mockery of it possible.

Israel with their fingers in all the pies. The picture becomes clearer still.

Oh for FOOKS SAKE!!!

Agree with your top 3 there Julian, each utterly fantastic in there own way. Out Of Your Mind and Janet's Doesn't Really Matter are decent too.

This wasn't as much of a flop as I remembered given it got as high as #17 but it did only spend three weeks on the chart and came after Dappy and Tulisa had achieved #1s. mq-bv3Oz448?si=bUI5qdbwLY1w_iIv

So there are multiple claims from different countries of harassment from the Israel delegation but nothing was done about it? Doesn't look good, makes the fact that they let Israel in after banning Russia look even more dodgy. L
