  1. As if that double-A was blocked from #1 by that dreary old codshit. The other half is naturally my favourite given my votes but Penny Lane is also excellent in its own way.
  2. I was meaning on the official charts. ;)
  3. I think Million Dollar Baby is looking likely to climb to the runner up slot at least. Whether it can top the charts will depend on Sabrina’s trajectory over the next few weeks.

At least the awful cringefest LWYMMD being the sole holder of her highest peak has been rectified. Probably an unpopular opinion but I think Fortnight instantly makes itself her best quality #1 by some distance.
  5. The BlueBoy – Remember Me Radiohead – Karma Police Eels – Novocaine for the Soul Fatboy Slim – The Rockafeller Skank Massive Attack – Teardrop

She really knows how to milk those stans dry with all these physical variants.

Oh my Ketchup and HP were right about Dua tbh!

Who are these sources? Ketchup and HP?
  9. Beat me to it lmao  Was just gonna say it's likely called Ocean
  10. Goldie Lookin Chain
  11. Sunday Morning Call is good stuff but my easy pick for standout track from SOTSOG is the fantastic, moody and atmospheric album track Gas Panic!

I'd think Taylor will finish between 20-25k, Dua over 30k.

Dua looking safe for the #1 album then
  14. If that 6-9 section gets shunted by the oncoming likes of Djo, Hozier, Sabrina… we could have a whole top 10 of songs that actually peaked in the current year (or resurged in the case of MOTD) and it will have only took… nearly half the year. At least we won’t be reaching the end of the year with a song that peaked 18 months earlier in the YTD top 3.
  15. I'll be voting for none of them and yes that does count as an official vote through the medium of a spoiled ballet. It doesn't matter one iota since my seat has been safe Labour for donkeys years but I will have made my own voice heard I guess.
  16. Kym Marsh's barnet wasn't having the best day here
  17. Most of the so-called 'landfill indie' crowd didn't have much chart success beyond the end of the 00s decade.
  18. Ah, despite being a #1 that has never felt that well known to me.
  19. I would have said Try Again was Aaliyah's best remembered, what would you rank above it Snake?
  20. My...Tuppence!! posted a post in a topic in UK Charts
    Which one lmao?
  21. I don't hate it tbh. It's basic and pretty superfluous at the end of the day but I don't think it massacres the original track either. Now can NatBed please throw some weight behind getting Pocketful Of Sunshine into the UK top 40? Thanks.
  22. Agreed that Life Is A Rollercoaster is actually a decent tune. Some of Ronan's other records could have been used as a form of torture at Guantanamo though. Try Again is excellent. How tragic that we never got to see what might still have been to come from Aaliyah. :(
  23. Write the theme tune, sing the theme tune

I normally couldn't give a rats arse about these diss track beefs but gave Euphoria by Kendrick a spin and it's got quite an interesting structure that warrants repeat listens and his lyricism does deliver whether it's ripping Dreck a new one or not. Would be happy for it to get a top 10 placement.
  25. Cheers Wardy! :) Here's hoping it's still upwards from here
