The Gallup Years- Top 10 Sales
Fantastic top two. Didn't realise George Harrison was relatively close behind that week. Great new addition from the Communards too.

2024 Australian Chart Thread
Dom Dolla in the top 10. The taste. The UK to replicate when?

I'm pretty confident Catfish will manage to make the top 40 with a comeback single but why on earth a Thursday release? Essentially chucking a fanbase purchase/curiosity listen day away in chart terms.

The Gallup Years- Top 10 Sales
Little Lies and Rent are both fantastic additions to elevate that top 10 further.

Who do you think will be going to #1 next week?
Beyonce looks to have it I think.

Buzzjack's Ultimate UK Number 6 Single - 1st Semi-Final
Black And White Town out too. The losses pile further.

I hadn't realised Girl From Mars missed the top 10! :o

The Gallup Years- Top 10 Sales
Crazy Crazy Nights is a good one and Faith a classic of course.

Calvin Harris & Rag’n’Bone Man - Lovers In A Past Life
Might be a grower but.... it's giving mid.

John Summit - Comfort In Chaos
Shiver is a bop.

I'm also quite looking forward to the phase of everyone and their mother feeling the need to put out a country leaning record being over oop

Not overly keen on the Beyonce song on first listen tbh but would be ok with her grabbing another #1 and it does seem to be building momentum.

Gavin & Stacey • The Finale: 2024 Christmas Special
Will be a shame if it doesn't happen.

Buzzjack's Ultimate UK Number 6 Single - 1st Semi-Final
Praying For Time is a big loss for me. Another gem from George.

Buzzjack's Ultimate UK Number 6 Single - 1st Semi-Final
Out Out is a low-key bop but was never in contention for my votes. I'd rank Bruises quite high among Capaldi's discography tbh. The worst song i've heard Tove Lo be involved with was overdoing it even making the shortlist oop.

Top of the Flops: 2000
I wonder if they were inspired by Britney's E-mail My Heart.

Top of the Flops: 2000
I unironically love it lmao.

90s Top 10 Sales Week By Week- 1995
Didn't realise how close The Original was to overtaking Take That to #1 either. Neither of the Battle Of Britpop tracks show off the best of their bands.

Top of the Flops: 2001
I've always quite liked Drive by Incubus which only just scraped in at #40 for a week. tfHn_txMqfQ?si=4XZuZX1bVk-LwGDj

Top of the Flops: 2000
This... hKtOctHgJNo?si=kZ37mrh4Y8gEiCKF Also a weird one since it wasn't actually released as a single in the UK but went all the way to #1 in the US... yYedTpODkx8?si=3P44X5eOsnaD3Mk6

The UK #3 singles listening sessions - Week 3 poll
Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood, Monday, Monday, Purple Haze, Itchycoo Park and (Sittin' On) The Dock Of The Bay for the best. I just wasted my vote in the worst poll by voting all because they all sounded like the same indistinguishable dirge lmao.

In the kindest way, don't rely on the Amazon chart to get your hopes up. As Brer says it's frequently a mess. I think if Sia/Kylie was going to chart this week it would still need to be at the top of iTunes.
